  1. Don't know how he'll do at Nebraska but agree totally with the rest.
  2. See, this to me is pretty typical. Other than one or two extremes, I haven't seen many I'd call "Bryce haters". If anything, there are "Bryce doubters". Or like me, "Bryce pleasedon'tlethimgethurt-ers"
  3. Voth, when asked about Fitterer's"superpower"... We've heard before from Joe Person and others how Rhule went about "consensus building"
  4. Yeah, that's it. Black and Blue Review, I remember now.
  5. I thought he did pretty well, honestly. Kinda reminds me of Cody Rhodes
  6. "Longest success" doesn't generally come from a quarterback like Richardson.
  7. I do kinda have a question about that. Don't imagine the Panthers would necessarily take kindly to having something like that out there. Makes me wonder if he parted on bad terms or something
  8. The only thing I'd call "epic stupidity" would be listening to fans. We've got a good staff who's gone through every detail with a fine toothed comb. I trust them to make the pick, regardless of who it is. Could they get it wrong? Absolutely, even if it's Young or Stroud. We all just have to hope they don't.
  9. Haven't looked, but I'm pretty sure Rivera still holds both the highest winning total and winning percentage of any coach we've had. Heaven knows he had his flaws, and his firing was absolutely justified. But nothing...nothing was as horrible as the Panthers under Matt Rhule. The idea that anyone else even could be is just plain ridiculous.
  10. Both they and Leaky Faucet have given us inside info you couldn't find online. That's valuable. Speaking as someone who posts plenty of Twitter links themselves, there's really nothing special about it (even less when a good portion of it is clickbait).
  11. Yeah, I wouldn't bet on that. Frankly I'd bet against it. It's like Snow said earlier. The Huddle isn't really representative of the fanbase as a whole. I seriously doubt the number of people throwing sh-t fits about it would translate into anything substantial...or even noticeable.
  12. You're seriously asking why an NFL GM wouldn't just throw something out there to give away who he's picking? Yikes I believe Young is the pick (same as most of us) but have mercy what a dumb line of reasoning
  13. I still would. Now with that said, a lot of the talk going around about the guy smells like bullsh-t. I caught a tape of his post pro day presser (below) None of the stuff about him being a jerk, being immature, thinking he's already great and/or won't have to work hard in the NFL...none of that shows up here. He comes off as a young kid with a big opportunity ahead of him just trying to get ready for it. Again, I don't see him being our pick, but I do think some people here are being unfair to him.
  14. You know these aren't stopping anytime soon
  15. From the presser... I get that people either don't want to believe this or just flat out deny it, but I'm not sure how many times Reich and Fitterer have to say it. Regardless of whether they had leanings early on, they really did take their time and think this decision over. Frankly, I'd be pretty disappointed if they didn't. It was always the smart thing to do.
  16. I've thought about it And decided it's purely coincidence
  17. Interesting choice of words
  18. I have a really hard time picturing him making it out of this offseason on our roster.
  19. Officially, final say belongs to Fitterer. Of course, if you read the recent interview with Reich, he talked about consensus building being Fitterer's "superpower". I've also heard people say the same thing about Reich. So overall, I suspect when they come to a final decision, it'll be a lot more cooperative then say, a Bill Polian throwing a chair type of meeting.
