The Panthers seem to be thinking about it...

FYI: Not a draft visit but a cool moment for Jaycee Horn...

The Young talk is valid. He's definitely very possible, though all reliable sources say the decision isn't made yet. That said, on the occasion of the Texans offering a decent package to trade up, do the Panthers take it? If the offer's good enough, I think they do. Mind you, that doesn't make the Young discussion a smokescreen. It's just the acknowledgment of another possibility.

Anthony Richardson Film Breakdown Megathread
Mr. Scot replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Most sources don't think so. Pretty much everything I've read has it between Stroud and Young. We did host Richardson and we're still hosting Levis. -
My mistake on Brian Hartline. Someone had mentioned him to me as a former Panther and I think I got it stuck in my head because I was remembering another receiving corps B Hart from Ohio State, Ben Hartsock. My brain is scrambled this week anyway from painting my office and building a new disk. Lady Cowboy Fan and I have a beach vacation planned for this weekend and apparently my brain is already there

Not a free agent, but a former Panther... Some people see him as a future star in the coaching ranks. Would be cool to see him join our staff in the future.

Being shorter doesn't help anyone avoid sacks, especially not when the rules penalize headhunting. Unless they were planning to swing for your skull, being shorter is not an advantage.

Baker Mayfield was a pretty big surprise. Everybody was expecting Sam Darnold to go first. There aren't any guarantees.

The vast majority of beat writers, analysts and gambling sites got the #1 pick wrong last year. And it's not the first time.

I can't even...

Hell no. It's damn smart.

Betting lines honestly don't mean sh-t to me. Betting lines have had our last two coaching hires being Jim Harbaugh or Sean Payton. I do take the beat reporters and the insiders seriously, but what they ultimately have is still just educated guessing. More educated than us, but still guessing.

It's still a hunch, though. For someone to know that it's leaning one way or another, they'd have to have regular insight info of the discussions going on in the building. I don't know if anybody has that much access. (at least not anyone in the outside media)

You do if you're equally happy with two quarterbacks and can get decent compensation.

What dumbsh-t pooed this? It's hilarious

You look at it wrong. Yes you do...and yes we did. And again, that decision isn't made.
