Might not be a bad idea, but unless he's assigned to the Panthers game he'll probably be out of town.

That's not so surprising

Anybody else think we are putting to much on Bryce's plate?
Mr. Scot replied to DennisM1's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh sure. And hey, it's not like it's too early to make this kind of judgment or anything -
That's different.

Yeah, Snyder gave him full power. I'm wondering if the new owner will let him keep it...or will even keep him.

I don't know that you can just blame Rivera for that given who makes their personnel decisions. Besides Marty Hurney, you've got Martin Mayhew as GM. The last time Mayhew was a GM, he built the Lions team that went 0-16. He was also interviewed by Jerry Richardson for the Panthers GM job in order to satisfy the Rooney Rule before he handed the job back to Hurney. Probably also noteworthy that Rivera brought former Panthers OL coach John Matsko (of whom I was never a big fan) with him, but recently fired him. Word it Is that was at the behest of Eric Bieniemy, who Rivera gave freedom to remake the offensive staff as he saw fit. They then promoted Travelle Wharton to take Matsko'a place. And while I'm a fan of Travelle, they've got Juan Castillo on staff coaching tight ends. Castillo has a longstanding rep for being a great line coach, so I'm not sure I understand that decision.

Not sure. I can tell it's not Murray because the jersey number is double digits, but I can't see it well enough to see what it actually is.

No big deal. Kaye offers a little context though... Cam Erving is manning the right side since Taylor Moton has a day off. Sounds like all the action is over him. Edit: You beat me to that one

Speaking of potential overreaction material... I'm not one to get my hopes up over things like this and would advise others not to do so either, but it's nice to hear.

Don't know anything about her but saw this... Lovely young lady, whoever she is. Someone responding to Newton mentioned seeing her with Young at FanFest. I wouldn't normally expect a girlfriend to be walking out on the training camp field though, so who knows?
-
Hasn't happened before that I can recall. Don't know that I've seen it anywhere else either. (granted, I don't pay much attention to other training camps)

What's her 40 time?
-
Ouch. Sorry to hear...
-
That's okay. The network did too

That was the issue I had as well...

The Hall of Fame Game (Preseason One) will be played tonight between the Jets and the Browns. It's not Panthers football, it's not regular season football, it probably won't even be good football, but it is NFL football...and I'm ready for it. The last few seasons left a really bad taste in my mouth, one that made it very tough to get excited for the start of the next season. But the changes made to the team this past offseason have excised those bad feelings. My expectations for this year aren't super high, but getting better and looking like an actual professional football team would be a huge improvement over the most recent whatever you want to call it. Anything beyond that is gravy. Maybe I'm just ready to be hurt again like Steve Carell, but I'm genuinely hyped up and anxious to get things started. I haven't been able to say that for a few years now. Feels good
