Von Miller: The Panthers were the better team

Didn't Philly go down because of a dirty play by A--hole Talib that went uncalled? -

Never bought into the "fix" theories, but have said and continue to say that Newton was in no position to fall on that football. It was too close to his feet. Unless he could have somehow dropped straight down (a physical impossibility) there was just no way for that to happen. -
It was right there

To be fair, at this point in the year their depth charts are no more official than ours.

How would what he said relate to The Tinderbox?

I loathe that phrase I know it's unreasonable, but still...

I have no problem rewatching highlights of 38, or even the full game if it's on. Not 50 though. I wouldn't watch a single moment of that even at gunpoint -
So I've heard...

Baker seems to attract that sort of thing

Schefter tweeted (is it still called "tweeting") that he'd never seen the word "or" in a d pth chart before. Gantt responded that it happened just last year, with Mayfield and Darnold

No argument... -
I'd have to look back but I think there were some player connections that helped. I know Campen had been on two straight staffs whose head coaches had been fired one season after he got there. His post Green Bay career was a little hectic before he settled here.

James Campen as well, but they were definitely exceptions to the Rhule

Oh, there was definitely a blueprint. You just had to be smart enough to see it, and Phillips is a defensive genius. Even without that though, you've still got Wade Phillips vs Mike Shula. Combine that with Ron Rivera stating there was no need for any adjustments and you've got a recipe for disaster. We've won poorly officiated games before. Hell, we won them that season. You can win a poorly officiated game way easier than a poorly coached one. -
Been a while since I've heard that

The story has come out since (I think from Gantt, not dead certain) that they actually did assign someone to help Remmers but whoever it was didn't do it. Think someone theorized it was Tolbert but it was never confirmed. -

Ron Rivera and Mike Shula vs Wade Phillips definitely mattered. Atlanta had given everyone the blueprint for beating us already. Phillips followed it, and our staff did nothing to counter them. -

I feel like I need to qualify that number by knowing how many of those 10 times included Ron Rivera coaching us and Wade Phillips coaching for them. -

Wonder what made the difference then... Hmmm

It was 45 the last time that rule was in effect. It changed in the last few years but I'm guessing it'll go back to 45 again.
