It falls apart either way. It's dumb.
-
It doesn't show anything of the sort.
-
It's a silly theory. Christensen was put on season ending IR after a game where nobody even knew he was injured. Young is missing a practice.
-
I try to tell myself people arent actually dumb enough to genuinely believe this kind of thing. They always wind up proving me wrong.

Okay, so if it leaves it's destination going west at 60 miles an hour while another one leaves going north at 40 mph and your train runs and out while the other one uses a go route and you both started from a spread formation in 12 personnel, who makes the most yardage? Seriously though...get used to that phrase "my wife told me" 🫥

Scott Fitterer Set Us Back A Decade w/ Two Trades
Mr. Scot replied to App Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Which recidivist yahoo is this? -
My ultimate read right now is that it's just too soon to be all that certain of anything much yet. There are positives, there are negatives and there are unknowns. Those could change plenty over time. Talk to me once we're past midseason and we'll probably have a lot clearer picture. I know sports talk and hot take culture despise nuance and patience, but I'm a big fan of both.

Hell, depending on how we were doing, I've been called homer, hater, cheerleader, grouchy old man, optimist, pessimist and about everything else but ventriloquist Personal favorite though was when someone said I worked for the team and was planted here to try and sway opinions on their favor (rotten bastards never paid me a single penny for all my hard work, either)

Nice work, Verge

I remember the sleep I lost Health concerns and such have backed me off of writing as much as I used to. Only completed one coaching candidate profile this time around. It was for Frank Reich Will say at least that I probably put more effort into that one than I have any written before. Hopefully the need for things of that type doesn't arise again anytime soon because I might be too tired to do it On the flipside though, love what you're doing with the page, your radio job and the college broadcast opportunities you've had. You worked hard for it and you deserve it, so kudos from me... ... bootlicker

In my defense, it's been a rough couple of days

I'll refrain from telling you what I was wearing when I wrote it 🫥

Early season football has always been sloppy, but I think it's gotten even sloppier since the latest CBA relaxed the practice rules. That's true even for established franchises. When you throw in a group that's just getting started like ours, well... FYI John, my take on the game was here: Post Mortem: Game 2 Did one for the first game also. Feel free to take a look and tell me whether or not I'm full of sh-t

Derrick Brown going after Mike Thomas after the game
Mr. Scot replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
First game against a county rival my sophomore year: We won, then as our coach had us do after every game, we knelt for a team prayer. Once we said "amen" and looked up, we saw that the other team had surrounded us and were all standing there with their fists clenched Coaches managed to diffuse the situation but I remember thinking, "Seriously guys, you're gonna surround a bunch of people praying?" -
And this from DeShawn Williams... What the hell, people?

Message from Thompson...

I will throw in one other comment I appreciated...
-
Eeehhh, what do you know about it?
-
Who's getting open, where on the field they're getting open, how far downfield they are, whether the passers were caught and how many yards were gained after the catch and any number of other things you could throw in would pretty much all be receiver metrics. As a quarterback measure though, what it tells us is that when they're open, he's getting then the ball in a spot where they can catch it.

Derrick Brown going after Mike Thomas after the game

Saints reporter Nick Underhill had this... That tells us where Thomas was headed and why he was going there, but Underhill indicated he didn't have any more details than that. -
They didn't include the raw numbers (would have been nice if they had) but based on the percentage calculation, there would have to have been at least five since a score of 80% would mean a factor of four out of five at the very least. NFL.com has Young on record as having thrown a total of 71 passes in the first two games. And while I know our receivers don't seem to be doing great job of getting open, I'm going to guess there have been more than five open windows out of that total.
