Dave Tepper has become a major asset for the Panthers
Mr. Scot replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wasn't meant to sound like I was absolving him. Just pointing out that take is true because he said it himself. -
I suspect we're in for numerous examples of "wow, Bryce is a really good guy" over the next several years.

I think the technical term for this is "full of sh-t". Nobody pays him any attention anyway though. He still wastes time writing massive walls of text but I'm not sure he's picked up on the fact that nobody gives a rat's ass. -
I'm never a fan of using completion percentage as your primary measure of accuracy. They're just too many factors that can skew it one way or another. I know it's not really possible for a fan to do this on a large scale, but if you want to judge accuracy the best way is just to watch a guy's throwing.

Multiple analysts have indicated that overall this year's wide receiver class is nothing special. I'm always on board with reinforcing the front though.

3-4 vs 4-3 Is about your front seven. Once you get back to the secondary I don't know that it's makes any huge difference.

We're also supposed to have a super smart DC who can do more with less, so yeah...
-
We're running a 3-4 system, so...

A coaching staff isn't, especially not one like ours. -

One of the things I've heard repeated several times by Fitterer (Reich too, I think) is some form of "we appreciate him empowering us to make decisions and backing that up with his wallet". In basic terms, that amounts to writing checks and getting out of the way. I don't know whether that or a backhanded compliment like "well at least he's not f--king sh-t up anymore" qualifies you to be called an asset, but it's an improvement and I'll take it. -

Yeah, I don't know that I'd be ready to call him an asset just yet, though I am prepared to stop calling him an asshole. We've said for a while that what he most needed to do was defer to the football people, and it looks like he's finally doing that. -
Breer doesn't think so... In the article, one team guy said his impression of Levis's interviews was that he was trying too hard to say the right thing instead of just being himself. Sounds possible that the pressure of the whole draft process may have messed him up a little. That said of course, inability to handle pressure in these situations is a red flag of its own.

And then the chargers tried to do the same thing with Justin Herbert

Just please keep your pants on -
Solid comparison given that Mills also played for a football team based in Philadelphia
-
There was speculation that the Eagles were going to take him.

I'm honestly okay with it either way

Apparently it means nothing...
