Bryce can play in the NFL. He's too inconsistent to be a starter, but he's at least capable. For the record though, I'd dump both. Choosing Bryce is purely hypothetical.

I'd honestly prefer a defensive coach. I threw out the name of Ron Rivera ... Mind you, if he does give up playcalling (and I'm in favor of it) I want to see Idzik get a chance.

I've said several times that Dave Canales needs someone to help him develop in the aspects of head coaching where he's weak. Specifically, offseason preparation, killer instinct, defensive management to name a few (there are likely more). Ideally, that would come in the persona of a former NFL head coach who's had some success and longevity in the position and understands things like I've mentioned, among others. I'd like to hear some name suggestions, but just for the sheer hell of it, im gonna throw out a crazy ass idea of my own to start. What about Ron Rivera?

It's one of the reasons I think we need a more successful former head coach on staff, someone that can help him develop in some of the areas where he's weak.

Disagree 180 degrees... We've got some good personnel but the scheme stinks. I'd add that some of our bad defensive draft picks were guys Evero lobbied for.

If you gave me a choice right now between dumping Bryce or dumping Evero, I'd dump Evero. That's how strongly I feel about him.
