Not just hyperbolic, but short sighted... I know there are some who believe if we just replace Bryce with a competent quarterback everything will be great. I see waaayyy too many other issues to believe that. Young isn't always bad, and even when he is bad he's getting plenty of help to lose games.

Every quarterback who gets hailed for 4th quarter comebacks does so because their team was losing. We came within a drive of just such a moment today.
-
Barring injury, I expect him to be one through the end of this season because who else do we have? Beyond that, don't know. If I had to wager, I'd probably bet against it, but ya never know
-
Kinda what I was expecting...

You're not supposed to...kinda like with O-linemen

Bryce has two bad mistakes early but settled down after that and had us within a touchdown of winning the game after a twenty point deficit. Trying to explain that away is silly. Is he "the guy"? I'm not convinced of that, but I'm gonna look at it objectively rather than hyperbolically.

Corbett got hurt right on our final TD, right before the final drive.

Don't remind me

Frankly, at this point my take on Canales is probably the same as my take on Bryce. He might be a better assistant than head coach.
-
And let's talk scheme...
-
Corbett's been banged up a lot these past few seasons.
-
Can agree with a lot of that but Campbell's been good for a long time.
-
We need a true center
-
If I had to make a prediction right now, I'd say perennial backup with the potential to be a good QB coach down the road. He's certainly shown the ability to play at an NFL level sometimes, but you can't build a team around "sometimes".
-
When exactly do you think Hunt and Corbett got hurt?
-
How many 'meaningful.games' did the Panthers play last year?
-
Compare Campbell's supporting cast to Brown's
-
Never a fan of that approach. It misses way too often
-
That drive where our starting center and our best offensive lineman were out?
-
Well, there was that one sixth round guy... Anthony Richardson, Tim Couch and Johnny Manziel were all first round picks. There have been later round and even undrafted picks that have outplayed first rounders.
-
Are there Bryce homers? I know there are some folks who, even if he has the game of his life, will never forgive him for not being 6'3. (or, in some cases, not being Cam Newton) I don't give a sh-t about his size if he can consistently play at an NFL level. Sadly, the jury's still out on that. I have seen him play well, but not enough that I'm confident.

Brown's impact isn't always the kind that shows up on personal stats.

Not glossing over anything, but also not making excuses to try and explain away when Bryce played well. That's just as dishonest as the flipside.

Special teams had its moments, especially that onside kick. Bryce had moments that fit under all three categories.
