Deion would never succeed in the pros, and he knows it. He's said as much.

Offensive Schemes, Running Game & Blocking FYIs
Mr. Scot replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
You don't actually have to be completely impotent to get messed up. Even the most hands on owner probably isn't gonna involve himself in picking the fourth corner or fifth receiver. But they'll absolutely chime in on major decisions and starters. That's all it takes. And ultimately yeah, what does it matter how good any of your personnel people are if the owner is just gonna Dan Snyder the decisions? -
Hadn't seen anything on this. Sanders is injured?

We've had reports from behind the scenes. Quarterback decisions were Rhule. Long snapper, Hubbard and others were Rhule. He wouldn't make every single pick, though. Equally big deal in this case is that we changed coaches and systems, meaning that players who fit the prior staff might not work for the new one. That kind of turnover doesn't necessarily mean a draft pick is bad, just not a fit. -
Pretty much, yeah.
-
Yeah, can't do that in the NFL.
-
He could conceivably wind up on a Jim Harbaugh coached Bears team. That would likely be interesting.
-
For the record, big believer in Drake Maye. Fan of JJ McCarthy also.
-
Yeah...ouch
-
Ohio State just about always does
-
That's probably the most "star making" path.
-
Maybe a corner who occasionally plays offense?
-
Gotcha. I know he said he's not declaring this year

Oh, not everyone. Jqust you, because you nearly always are. And in this discussion, absolutely,.but still slinging the usual bullsh-t -
Will his recruiting involve a trip to Los Angeles to see Mount Rushmore? Don't doubt Shedeur is good. I'm just not sure how good. His dad tinkering with the offensive coaching staff didn't do him any favors. If I'm being honest, more interested in Travis Hunter as a prospect, but we're obviously not going to be in a position to get him.

After Deion recruits an All Star offense?
-
Somewhere, Tom Jackson is upset...

There's a beyond zero chance that we trade for anybody until the season's over.
-
He looked really good in the game where the Cowboys were showcasing him. That's still a preseason game, though. Hard to know how seriously to take it.
-
Also a McCarthy fan but I'm not sure how high he goes. A lot can change over the offseason activities.

Weren't you just talking about "intentionally recreating" what someone else says?! Weird how that happens
