  1. Possibly Again, it's Irsay so who knows?
  2. I've sat down to watch this about three times and I keep getting distracted
  3. I think Mrs McDaniels implication was that Irsay might have been doing...other things That was my impression anyway. Could be wrong.
  4. Philosophies and such, yes. The actual playbook? Brown describes that here... Brown dives into the work behind creating an all-new playbook
  5. No, can't say I ever would have predicted anyone actually arguing something as ridiculous as this. Do you guys so desperately need me to be wrong that you'll resort to arguing this kind of goofball conspiracy stuff? That sounds like an emotional issue.
  6. No idea. Would guess it's his wife or girlfriend (I don't know if he's married). Whoever she is, clearly they came up with the costume idea together.
  7. You're seriously arguing that Brown might have lied about having written the playbook? And this at a time when nothing yet had even happened? Damn, dude. I've gotta believe this is just because you want to argue with me, which basically means that's so important to you that you're willing to go out on a limb and say stuff this crazy. Then you turn around and say I'm the one that insists on being right no matter what? Oy
  8. Here's the good thing, though... There's a pretty definitive answer to this question from Thomas Brown himself. I can link it for you if you like 🫥
  9. Thomas Brown: "I wrote the offense" CRA: "No, you didn't, because I said so!" Who to believe?
  10. Well in this case, it would be the facts according to Thomas Brown. Would you suggest that you have more intimate knowledge of what actually happened than he does?
  11. Yep, and he retained the majority of McDaniels staff rather than fire them and forcw them to have to find new jobs.
  12. I was happy already. You argue that you can contradict an established fact because...reasons. That was silly enough to begin with. But then this kind of emotional rant from you as a moderator. And you wonder why people have negative feelings about the forum? What's next? Giving me a warning point for pointing out how bad this argument / behavior is? Yeesh
  13. McDaniels makes history, but not the good kind... Also, an update on an old friend of ours... I didn't actually remember that he was with the Raiders.
  14. Yeah, that's a cop out. CRA wants to put the blame for the offensive struggles on Reich so he denies the fact that Brown wrote the playbook...and you're supporting that for apparently no other reason than to argue against me. You might want to take a step back and look at just how profoundly silly what you're arguing here is.
  15. Boy, that's some irony Outside of your own suppositions, can you find anything anywhere that suggests Thomas Brown did not write the offense? Input from Reich is understood, but Brown himself said prior to the season that he built the offense from the ground up. Can you find any solid evidence whatsoever to contradict that?
  16. And apparently it ain't over... Wow
  17. Because one is reporting and one is speculation. "I think we're ready to win' is an opinion. Maybe it's genuine, maybe it's not, but you can judge that by the situation. "I wrote the offense" is a statement of fact. What point would there be lying about it prior to the season even starting?
  18. A little follow-up... I've seen it reported that the Raiders weren't taking calls yesterday, so even if anybody had wanted to make them an offer they might not have been able to because they were busy firing everybody Also, this... It's speculation, but it's worth a thought. If it does happen, probably won't be anybody all that notable.
  19. So can you find a report from anyone who covers the Panthers suggesting that Brown didn't write the offense? I get that you don't believe you need facts or reporting to support your argument, but some of us actually like that sort of thing. I mean you can say, "Well nobody anywhere is reporting it but I know its true anyway" like you usually do, but you'll have to pardon me if I don't find that...convincing. Oh, and FYI: David Tepper being in the room with you doesn't count as a valid source 🫥
  20. That's the story told by McDaniels' wife. Is it true? Don't know. Is it believable? Well, we're talking about Jim Irsay, so...
  21. Step one: not CRA given that he tends to directly contradict things that are reported from multiple sources. When asked why he thinks a certain way it's always basically "because I said so" Realistically though, what reason would Brown have to lie about being the guy who wrote the offense? Perhaps more to the point, this article was written before the season ever started. Nobody knew how things were going to go. Are we going to suggest that the Panthers preemptively asked Brown to act as a scapegoat in case Reich failed? How stupid does that sound?
  22. Heard there were a load of complaints about quality issues over the last couple of weeks...
  23. I'd forgotten about the Colts thing. Technically this was McDaniels' third head coaching opportunity. He just bailed on his second one
