    Football players - and athletes in general, to be honest - are a very superstitious bunch. Lucky hats, socks, underwear, pre-game rituals, etc. (not that any of us on The Huddle would ever do stuff like that of course) If he thinks using a different name and number messed with his mojo, it doesn't surprise me that he'd want to change it.

    There was speculation Brockel's injury could land him on IR. Haven't heard anything in a while, though.
