  1. The clarification was unnecessary. He understood what you meant. What he was doing with his post was telling you that what you said was stupid. (and he was right)
  2. That's my line, but you probably already thought of that
  3. Sounds like an advertising slogan. Ask Igo if The Huddle needs a new tagline.
  4. Lord have mercy, there's a boatload of 'dumb' in this thread
  5. More... Ian Rapoport @RapSheet · 42m 42 minutes ago Michael Oher was injured and played bad. Isn’t actually bad RT @RobSchroeder12: @RapSheet both players are bad, but other than that I agree
  6. The Niners gave up on him for the same reason they gave up on most of their coaches. He was associated with Harbaugh.
  7. You want another good reason to support this? Frank Garcia hates the idea. Given Frank's track record, I'd call that a good sign.
  8. Disagree. Sometimes, teammates can arguably have a bigger influence on players than coaches do. Turner talked about how he thought he was 'nasty' till Norwell showed him a whole other level. For that matter, how many stories have you seen of bullying victims going apes--t on people when they've finally had enough? As mentioned, I'm not his biggest fan, but I acknowledge the possibilities are worth what minimal risk we're taking.
  9. Not sure how many people remember, but Martin is actually the second player that was part of the Dolphins bullying scandal to play for the Panthers. The first was Andrew McDonald. He made it to our practice squad last year but then was signed away by the Seahawks early in the season. (I think they cut him later because I remember some folks here hoping we'd bring him back)
  10. Martin before... Martin after hanging out with Norwell and Turner...
  11. Nah. I just felt the urge to respond anyway
  12. I think Philly's take on how Newton will react is much better informed.
  13. I don't see it as a bad signing, but I think you know that.
  14. incognito has more douche in him than a Summer's Eve manufacturing plant.
  15. Valid point. And then after that Andrew Norwell can teach him how to eat nails and hate everybody wearing a different uniform.
  16. Can't speak for him, but I don't think Martin's that good. With that said though, this is legitimately a signing with zero risk, so why not? If he stinks, no big deal. If he's actually worth something, cool.
