NFL says Pats guilty, and Brady knew
Mr. Scot replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm honestly not that big a fan of Giselle. -
I'm not upset about anything, so I have no need to protest.
-
No, really. You should so it.
-
Understood, but I don't buy that it's as big a loss as people think. If he's not an LT, who do you replace?
-
If the Panthers didn't see him as a left tackle, then honestly there wasn't really a good place for him. The guards are set and they have Remmers and Williams for the right tackle spot.
-
The Panthers (and some other teams, actually) didn't necessarily see him as a good left tackle prospect. They had him graded as a second round talent.
-
You should become a Cowboy fan in protest.

I can assure you he's not a Brady homer. -
Understood. I'd say a lot depends on the progression of Kony Ealy.

The fact that Brady is a colossal prick helps too. People love it when pricks get busted. -
I love the Huddle... Pre-Draft: "Watch Gettleman take a pass rusher and ignore the holes on offense." Post-Draft: "We're thin at defensive end!"

Same reason 31 other teams - all the way down to the final pick - made the same decision.

Cam isn't the type to pull s--t like this. -
Fans can't pay NFL players. Charitable contributions though? Yes.
-
Nor should they when someone else's life has been taken.
-
Crazier than it's already been?

The deflator, ladies and gentleman. (or "die flatormaus" for you fans of German classical music) -
Meetings can indeed be planned, of course. Won't be shocked if one is shortly planned with us too.
-
I think we'd be idiots if we tried to pull a stunt like that. Very few "proven" players would be worth that kind of risk, and no unproven player is or ever will be. Also, the league didn't "ruin his dream". An unfortunate set of circumstances may have delayed it, but there's still plenty of room for a happy ending.

Anybody else chuckling at how much fun Brady's next press conference is likely to be? I know I am -
General talk maybe, but not contract or football-specific talk. The NFL does not like loopholes.
-
Good news for him, but we still can't have any 'official' contact till after the 9th.
-
What you're talking about happens with existing teammates, and relatively minor amounts. If it were done with big money and used as an enticement to bring him aboard, the league would go ape s--t.
