    Sincere? No idea. A lot of 'apologies' these days boil down to "sorry I got caught" or "sorry I got a negative reaction". Would say though that if he did come to an understanding of how this video makes him look bad, that tells me at least he's not a complete idiot.

    If I thought we were a quarterback away, I'd be okay with it. For a team that's still rebuilding and has a lot of roster holes, especially on the offensive line, it's not something I can get on board with.

    I get that, but the last thing I want is him overriding his decision makers. If they say "this is too much to trade", he needs to accept that.

    If he's involved beyond telling Fitterer and Rhule that we need to get a good quarterback, it makes me nervous.

    It's already going to be difficult to re-sign Samuel. The cap hit involved with trading McCaffrey would make it damn near impossible. Voth has pretty well established that McCaffrey is untradable so any speculation of a deal involving him isn't very realistic.

    Albert Breer is characterizing Tepper as "obsessed" with getting a quarterback. If Fitterer and Rhule were to decide there's not a great option this year, I wonder how those conversations would go.

    If you get a player with physical skills but no mental ability, you've basically got Johnny Manziel. I'm not a Mac Jones fan, but I'd take him over Manziel in a heartbeat.

    Back in the day, Marty tried to swing a trade of Julius Peppers for two second rounders but Belichick said no. Don't figure we'd ask for anything close to that big a return for Bridgewater.

    Oh, I wouldn't bet on that. There's a fair number of people out there who lack the brains to even realize just how stupid they look. That tends to be the kind of personality that pulls a dumbass stunt like this kid did.

    No, it's a dumbsh-t clickbait title. The article itself is worthy of being read and discussed for Peter King's take on the story, but characterizing it as "big news" is bullsh-t when it's really just an analysis of things we already know.

    Any other loss would have had the same effect. I think people are probably more pissed about this one because it was late in the season, because it was against Rivera and because Rivera botched it. I remember when it happened, several people characterized it as Ron screwing us over one last time.
