Yes, it was a blatantly illegal pick. It's the same thing Richie Brockel got flagged for some weeks back that cost Greg Olsen a touchdown. There's some gray area in the rules about that kind of thing honestly. The Saints have built a good portion of their offense on that kind of play. I didn't see a flag thrown though. Whether one would have been thrown had TD not intercepted? Unknown.
