The guy who tweeted it out as a report is getting called out for being misleading... ...and admits he didn't actually see it in proper context.

See above.

It's not a report. They were asked to make bold predictions and this was his. It's basically a hypothetical.

Dolphins have received many calls for pick number 3
Mr. Scot replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
And it's possible we still would have won. But the suggestion that putting Walker in there would have made us more likely to win just doesn't hold up. He just isn't that good. -

I don't know that we would have lost the game, but you propped up Walker saying he won the only game he played in. I pointed out that wasn't true, and that when he played against a better defense he looked terrible. -

Walker played several series in the Saints game, and played terribly. He threw three interceptions, all of which looked bad, and ended the game with a 20.5 rating. That's how he looked when he wasn't playing the worst defense in the league. -
I'd prefer a different outcome.

From the article... Fontenot said he has studied the work of former Packers GM Ron Wolf, and agrees with Wolf’s assessment that it’s never a bad time to bring in a quarterback. “You look at Ron Wolf,” Fontenot told NFL Media. “You always bring in quarterbacks. You need to bring in quarterbacks, whether it’s in the draft, whether it’s in free agency, or signing guys off the street. It’s so important, bring in quarterbacks a lot, build strengths.” Worth noting that even if they're not interested in drafting a quarterback, Fontenot could be looking to dangle their pick as bait for somebody who is interested to trade up.

I doubt the Dolphins or Jets agree to any trade of their top picks as long as there's a chance that Deshaun Watson might be traded. As we get closer to the draft maybe... -

In this case, it's an opinion. -
Obada had a tough year, considered quitting

When he had a big play in the London game, I have to imagine that felt amazing. -
REPORT: Mac Jones not high on Panthers QB draft board

Nothing from that website qualifies as a "report". They're quoting Joe Person's opinion. This early in the offseason, the draft board doesn't even exist yet. -
You know, there are times when it would be a good idea to just shut up. You don't do very well at recognizing those times so I'll help you out. This is one of them.

More here: Panthers DE Efe Obada talks about playing through the pandemic Let's not forget the beginning of the year when he made the team, expressed his thanks, and then wound up cut. Happily, he wasn't gone for long. Efe is a really easy guy to cheer for.

Family reported and missing while he was checked into a hotel? Yeah, this story has "bad things" written all over it. Shame. I remember him as a player. He was good.

Makes sense. I've seen a loooot of versions of that.

Even factoring in age?

And given their records of the last five years (some of them even longer than that) they actually have something to show for it. Heck, even the Falcons have been to a Super Bowl since we were last there. And the Eagles won theirs. Plus it's not like our cap space is phenomenal. We've got a lot of holes in our roster and don't even have enough cap space to keep both of our best players. To top it all off, while I'm extremely happy that Ron and Marty are gone, we still don't really know how good our current braintrust is...especially our GM. There's certainly reason to be hopeful for the future, but the suggestion that anyone (especially among the teams mentioned) is looking at the post 2015 Panthers and thinking "man, I wish we ran things like they did" is kinda silly.
-
Ron really believed in that. Clark's footwork was some of the worst I've ever seen. He looked like he was just constantly trying not to trip over his own feet and fall down.
-
Technically we're not committed to it yet. We have until March 9th. I'm actually pretty sure nobody's designated a Franchise Tag yet. If they did, I missed it. As far as what it means, not sure what it says about Samuel, but it probably does indicate that our offers and Moton's wishes aren't very close to each other.

I'm for it, but I seem to be in the minority on that. I'd argue it might make more sense this offseason than it ever has.

You have to look back at what he used to be. Then remember that both of the teams who are looking at him have coaches who were in Philly when he was good and likely believe they can make him that way again.
