  1. Yeah, and with over twenty accusers, I'd skip out of "wait and see" mode and head to "hope and pray" mode, cause it ain't looking good right now.
  2. Lawyer said the majority of them are state licensed massage therapists. That would make it unlikely they were secret prostitutes. It'd also be a pretty easy thing to check their credentials. Throw in that the word is he's sharing all his information with the Houston Police Department. Would you be comfortable with that if you were running a secret sex business?
  3. Buzbee said he himself doesn't have anything to do with the Texans, nor is the lawsuit associated with them. And I'm pretty sure something as simple as 'hey you should try this massage therapist" doesn't necessarily make the Texans liable.
  4. Almost sounds like a fetish or something. Yes he could still be innocent, but being accused of something like this by more than twenty women looks pretty bad.
  5. Another reportedly referred by a trainer who works for the Texans.
  6. Also reported now that one of the masseuses was referred to him by Quincy Avery.
  7. Nine accusers was going to be difficult enough. Now up to potentially twenty-two? Yikes
  8. Oh sh-t. Twelve accusers already, ten more possible in discussion... Yeah, this is really bad.
  9. Number of accusers has now risen to a dozen. This is deep sh-t.
  10. And meeting them alone. Gotta be aware how huge a risk that is.
  11. Yeah, noticed that too. Have to wonder just how frequently he was doing this.
  12. I think Tepper being the guy making any of our football decisions is a recipe for disaster.
  13. I don't think we're waiting on Watson. We have no cap space.
  14. And Adoree Jackson is visiting the Giants. Couple of guys people hoped would be Panthers targets looking elsewhere.
  15. Dude, I'm as big a critic of cancel culture as anyone, but this story is not the fault of cancel culture.
  16. If you've been reading some of what's been said in this thread, you have my sincere sympathy.
  17. Only people who need money use poor judgment, put themselves in bad situations and wind up in trouble? (there's a guy named Watson who I'd say serves as evidence to the contrary)
  18. Not referring directly to you, no. Just general chatter from a couple of posts.
  19. Then why ruin him while he's still on your roster, counts against your cap and you get nothing for him? They could have agreed to trade him, got a massive haul in return, then when he was firmly entrenched on somebody else's roster, let fly with the accusations. Doing it this way would be a classic case of cutting off your nose to spite your face.
  20. I still can't believe people are talking about the idea og the Texans doing this to get him to play for them. "We've trashed your reputation and possibly ruined your career. Now play for us!" Yeah, good strategy If they had wanted to blackmail him, they would have threatened to release all this stuff behind the scenes. If they had wanted to hurt him, they would have gone ahead and traded him for the biggest trade deal they could get, then let out what happened. These scenarios some people are suggesting would be like someone releasing embarrassing photographs of a public figure, then coming to them afterward and saying "now pay me not to publish those".
  21. I'll take the risk of "looking like a beta" over being accused of rape, or actually committing one, pretty much ten times out of ten.
