  1. Remember he said the meetings with Tepper "weren't fun". I think he's just too nice a guy.
  2. Failing at it would pretty much destroy a promising broadcast career. Ask Matt Millen. He was supposed to be the next John Madden. Hell, ask Mike Mayock.
  3. Yeah he did, and for a really stupid reason.
  4. The only person I've actually seen say that is Tre Boston, and he did so in the context that he was (unseriously, I think) lobbying for a job.
  5. I like Greg a lot, but if he wants to be a head coach he should do it the right way by starting at the bottom as a position coach or something like that and working his way up.
  6. Exactly the example we would all want him to follow
  7. I don't really think it matters. Hell, he already had a massive buyout from the Colts. It's just not his personality.
  8. Alternate title: "Frank says exactly what everyone expected him to say"
  9. It'd be entertaining as hell. Would it be a winning combination? Not so sure about that. Also feel pretty certain that neither Harbaugh nor Belichick would be okay having weekly meetings with Tepper.
  10. John Lynch doesn't actually do the personnel work. Adam Peters does.
  11. Joe Person doesn't think Bill Belichick would take the Panthers job.
  12. That'd be Matt Millen, part two. He at least has some experience coaching, although at a very minor level. He has no experience whatsoever in personnel evaluation.
  13. Not so much that as saying there's such a thing as being too "collaborative".
  14. Yeah, I like Greg, but no. It would be very Tepper like to take cues from Jim Irsay, though
  15. Harbaugh reportedly wants the Bears job. And given that they're probably going to have the number one pick, I think if he wants it, he'll get it.
  16. I think that contributed. But if you want my honest opinion on the biggest factor, I'd point out that although he wasn't officially listed as part of the writing team, it's awfully curious that the story was broken by Sports illustrated just a few weeks after Jonathan Jones started working for them. He might not have had the freedom to talk about that sort of thing while working for the Observer, but Sports illustrated has no problem publishing stories like this (as I'm sure Deshaun Watson would testify).
  17. Would the jeans day story have seen the light of day if Richardson didn't also call call Khary Darrington a (racial slur)?
