  1. The most likable bosses aren't always the best ones
  2. I can sign on with pretty much all of that.
  3. That could be a Rooney Rule thing. Lotsa speculation they want Belichick.
  4. Someone already suggested bringing Saban aboard to help with Bryce Young.
  5. That's true of at least one team pretty much every offseason.
  6. I'd pay big money to have him not get any say in draft picks.
  7. I'd hope it's more like the 49ers. Adam Peters runs the personnel side of things. John Lynch runs everything else. I'm good with that as a model.
  8. NFL General Managers have traditionally been CEOs, handling pretty much everything within the team, part of that being roster management. What we may end up with Is someone who has that title but isn't really over the personnel side of things. And as mentioned, I'm fine with that. Just don't give me an analytics guy making football decisions.
  9. That's what I'm waiting to see. The title doesn't matter so much as the job description does.
  10. I don't really have a problem with it. It is fair to point out that it's unusual, and yes it's pretty obvious that it comes from a position of insecurity. But then, it's not like we didn't already know how people were looking at us.
  11. Depends on how you look at it. What it makes most clear to me is that it's understood how people see the team, and David Tepper in particular. That's not a bad start, but you still have to do something about it.
  12. You want an honest answer to that?
