If you haven't seen enough Fitterer today...
-
What the coaching staff says will absolutely factor in. I have no doubt of that.
-
The other guy Fitterer mentioned today...
-
It's still Fitterer, Morgan and Suleiman. Only big change is from Pat Stewart to Adrian Wilson.
-
That would seem to put you in the "sign Carr" camp, but I'm not sure that's really where you are.
-
-
Correct.
-
The only way I could see that happening is if they believe one of the rookies is ready to start now. Is there anyone you think fits that scenario?
-
You could probably get away with Jacob Eason on the practice squad. Corral? I'm not so sure.

Insert comment here

Murray's also the guy who's famously (or infamously) been said to "really hate being hit". That's besides the study habit questions, of course. Maybe if you could put Young's brain in Murray's body, you'd have something. (granted, putting it in somebody like Josh Allen's body would be better)
-
One of those could technically be Jacob Eason

Let's put it this way... One thread was for tracking news on a quarterback the Panthers are interested in. Another was saying "Hey, y'all need to pay attention to this thing that David Newton said." I can think of very few situations where that second statement would be true. Hell, you're probably could have just put that tweet in the Carr watch thread.
-
I caught the comment but not the implication. Good point.
-
Nah...

I said it in the presser thread and I'll say it here too... Reich was asked about quarterbacks several times. There were only two that he seemed really enthusiastic about. One of them was Bryce Young, the other was Derek Carr.
-
While that's certainly a valid tale, I don't remember seeing this kind of thing before Rhule either.
-
-
Not really... Kleiman overstated it

And now it's a Panthers.com story... Maybe it's a change I hadn't noticed, but I'm not used to stories about us negotiating with free agents being written for Panthers.com. Mind you, that doesn't necessarily mean we're signing him but it's different.
