Also competing in the contest that year, new Panthers quarterback coach Josh McCown. McCown would go on to win the challenge himself two years later. So besides all the other quarterback centric connections, the Panthers can now boast that they're associated with two winners of the Quarterback Challenge and the son of a player who helped one of them win
