  1. Thought it was the other way around. But yeah, Duce Staley.
  2. Possibly. Reich raved about Bryce Young in his presser, but of course you've got the size concerns.
  3. Don't know other than probably not Anthony Richardson given what Joe Person said. They're said to like Will Levis a lot.
  4. Funny thing I noticed looking at trade up scenarios: We have front office connections with almost all of the top six teams in the draft right now. At #1, Bears Co-Director of Player Personnel Jeff King not only played tight end here under John Fox but was also a teammate of new VP of Player Personnel Adrian Wilson in Arizona. Speaking of Wilson, he's obviously well connected to the Cardinals who sit at #3. Some calls could certainly be made there. At #4 is the Colts, who despite his departure are said to still have a good relationship with Head Coach Frank Reich. Coming in at #6 you have the Rams, from whom we just obtained our new OC and DB Coach as well as our DC (thru Denver). And of course, there's the Seahawks at #5 who have a close connection to both our GM and our Assistant GM. The question, of course, becomes which connection we'll call on... ...but hey, at least we have options
  5. If you watch the video, Eisen says up front it was all just rumors he heard and he doesn't know how valid any of it is. He's just throwing it out there for something to talk about.
  6. I get the personal connection with Dennis Allen. That said, Allen might be the one NFL coach who makes Matt Rhule look competent.
  7. We've talked about Schultz here before.
  8. Think it was Breer who said the Saints were always his preferred destination (maybe Fowler if not Breer). We weren't gonna pay what they paid so he'd have to have preferred us for other reasons...and apparently didn't.
  9. I don't know for sure if that news is real. The guy posting it is just a fan and I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere else.
  10. Fitterer has a long stated preference for the "draft and develop" route so he's being consistent. According to Person, the Panthers interest in Carr was driven primarily by Frank Reich. Fitterer was agreeable to it but didn't want to overspend. I said all along I was okay either way but the positive part of this decision for me is that it shows we're not "desperate" as some have described us to be.
