Ickey / Christensen / Corbett with Zavala as the utility guy Or Ickey / Zavala / Corbett with Christensen as the utility guy My vote is for Option B

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Charlton the guy who dropped an f-bomb on stage right after getting drafted? His career is another one that hasn't exactly been anything to write home about.

Yeah, kind of a weird thing to say, especially regarding a team that has Sean Gilbert in their history.

Their knowledge of each other is something to build on. Throw into that Ickey can help Zavala Make the adjustments and they can build together. Offensive linemen would tell you that left guard is a lot easier to learn than right guard. In fact, it's considered the easiest position on the entire line. That's one reason I'd rather have Corbett on the right.

He certainly still has a chance to have a nice (or at least decent) career. I just wouldn't bet on that happening here, especially not with the system change.

Regardless of comparisons to Grier, PJ's career has been nothing special. He's had a couple of memorable moments, but so have a lot of guys that were never heard from again after they had "that one game".

Walker was a player with way more experience in the league but still had to fight for a roster with a guy who was just getting started. When they had their preseason battle, pretty much everyone agreed Grier performed better, but Walker had Rhule in his corner, so... Now just a short time (and good coaching) later, Grier is looking way better. Meanwhile, PJ is still a guy who will, as the saying goes "make big plays...for both teams". Would you honestly think PJ is capable of the kind of performance Grier put on last night (even in preseason)?

Should also add that a positive of moving him to the left is he'll be lining up next to a guy he's already got great chemistry with.

You can quote from an article where coaches coaching a current player are trying to be encouraging about his ability to accomplish something? Yeah sure, that's convincing You might also include a quote about all the progress Matt Corral is making just for good measure.

He was? It wasn't necessarily desperation. Henderson was a guy Matt Rhule coveted heavily in the previous year's draft (Brown eventually won out). When the opportunity came to get him, he was ecstatic.

It's something I'd like to see. As others have mentioned, Christensen seems like an ideal utility backup more than a great starter.

Where's PJ now though? Do you see any hubbub about teams looking to acquire him if he doesn't make the Bears? Might also be helpful to remember who it was that made that decision to keep Walker over Grier. Is that somebody whose judgment you want to cite for an argument?
