Everything posted by Mr. Scot

  1. Same as yesterday. The transactions might be done but the announcements aren't.
  2. More so than usual given that practice squads can now have up to 16 players Meirov lkes the term "firestorm" (as opposed to the movie "Firestorm")
  3. Not that long ago, the Colts front offi ce was held up as a standard for other NFL teams to follow. Not sure if it's the influence of Jim Irsay or other factors, but I'm starting to get the impression those days are over.
  4. Of note... Hey, works for me As a side note, I get the feeling the phrase "Scott is the same way" applies to a lot of things about Reich and Fitterer.
  5. Everybody and their brother knew we weren't keeping two kickers. All they had to do was wait. Honestly, if the Steelers get something for either of their punters, I'll be surprised. (and honestly, disappointed)
  6. This sentiment is pretty much universal among Panther reporters...and well it should be 🫥
  7. One thing you can pick up just from watching league news: there are definitely teams out there looking to pick up a quarterback. I'd say there's at least a half decent chance we could get something in return for Corral. It might not be anything huge, but that's okay
  8. I think Pioli did at least a half decent job. Obviously luck plays a factor with guys like Brady.
  9. First thing that crossed my mind too but yeah, that was a prior year.
  10. Feels like I see the phrase "former high draft pick from the Patriots cut" a lot these days. They haven't necessarily drafted particularly well for a while now. (hence the massive free agent frenzy of a couple years ago that included Cam Newton)
  11. Mike Lombardi takes it a step further with Rivera...
  12. Heinecke's relayed comment about Rivera not really seeing Howell in practice surprised me. To me, that's insane.
