  1. With Sullivan going on IR, we do, but I don't think the position is a priority at the moment.
  2. Maybe we should sign Bailey Zappe to the 53 just to return the favor. Evidence would suggest he's better than Corral anyway
  3. Sometimes I think Belichick does it just to be an a--hole By my count, that would be three quarterbacks on the Patriots practice squad counting Bailey Zappe, Malik Cunningham and Corral
  4. Yeah...know how I know you haven't read any of the actual articles? (honestly that's also pretty funny coming from someone who always says that his own narrative is more reliable than what the insiders write) Have fun sticking with the "Rhule didn't really have full control" narrative though. That one's especially hilarious
  5. Since I posted one funny video, here's another (one people my age should appreciate). Don't know if you've ever seen "literal videos" before, but I love the concept. Combining them with the utter batsh-t craziness often found in music videos from the '80s seems to work especially well. For this one, the choreography rap (around three minutes in) and the goodbyes at the end both had me laughing out loud I'd add that if you enjoy this clip, you might wanna look up the literal video versions for Total Eclipse of the Heart and The Safety Dance for more.
  6. I can relate for different reasons
  7. That lower right photo hurts
  8. Hell, guards have become far more highly paid and important in the last several years than they ever were before.
  9. Add another name to the list of former Panthers I didn't know we're still in the league... Starting to think Dean Marlowe will be in the NFL till he's 50
  10. Well, if Rhule said it... (we all know we can count on his honesty and transparency) 🫥
  11. Granted, but not as many of them lend to jokes as well as this one 🫥
  12. I'm not either, but I remember that being a theory some folks here bought into.
  13. Fitterer ran the personnel department, scouting and all of that, exactly what a GM typically does. He could make recommendations, but didn't have the final call. It's kind of like what Jay Gruden described from his time in Washington, only with the head coach instead of the owner. Insiders have helped fill in the blanks. A couple of the things mentioned were that the quarterback decisions all fell to Rhule, who wasn't a big fan of rookies. He wanted Mayfield, and got him, but that offseason Fitterer repeatedly talked about building around a rookie being the right way to go in a manner that almost made it sound like he was arguing a point. What it ultimately sounds like is that internally, Fitterer pushed for the team to draft a quarterback. Not necessarily a specific quarterback, but a quarterback. Corral ended up being the guy, a lot of which had to do with Ben McAdoo. After the draft, Rhule got the veteran he wanted. Fitterer still wanted to try and build around a rookie, but he wasn't going to have that opportunity under Rhule. Then Rhule was fired, Reich was hired, and here we are.
