  1. The Rams strategy of "F*** them picks" Also to be clear, I would have traded Burns for that haul, but that trade leaves you in the spot of needing a foundational player that's not easy to find after giving up the one you did find.
  2. It's also wrong, and I explained why.
  3. Yeah, didn't do any of that, but I can see why you'd want to spin it that way
  4. Per his own words, David Tepper "just knew" that Matt Rhule was the right choice.
  5. The Ram strategy isn't exactly one I'd want to follow. Yes they have a Super Bowl ring but they've really fallen off and it might take them a while to get back. Runningback and receiver aren't "cornerstone" picks. Pass rusher is.
  6. I'm sure you guys will love this one...
  7. Would you be able to hire somebody? Sure. Are you going to attract the best candidates with that kind of owner? Not necessarily.
  8. Yeah, not going down that road again There's actually a lot of good discussion being had here. Not gonna derail it responding to that kind of silliness.
  9. Another quick FYI... Regarding that hit, this from the guy on the receiving end...
  10. "Slow Ass Thielen" has been the best target we've had though.
  11. I'd say the receiver spot could be an issue there as well. What you want ideally in a WCO is a set of receivers who have great run after the catch ability. I don't see very much of that on our team.
  12. The stories that he was an extremely difficult person to work for are certainly looking more credible at this point.
  13. Regardless of who's calling the plays... I know people were looking for the switch from Reich to Brown to make a big difference, it really didn't.
  14. The question becomes what will they do in the coming offseason? You certainly can't install an entirely new offense in the middle of the year, but you can tailor the attack to your personal plenty over a full offseason. That, or you can make some changes to the line so that they better fit what you want to run.
  15. This is the most important part. Hold off on anything else until this is done.
  16. I'd expect he was always going to go into it with a West Coast based scheme. BUT... Per his own words, Reich stated that he wanted to tailor the scheme to fit the players rather than the other way around. It doesn't look like he's doing that.
  17. Not if Tepper is still the one making the decisions.
  18. One of my biggest complaints in the regular work world was when decisions were made by people who were ill-informed to make those decisions. That's a problem no matter where it happens.
  19. Yeah, that guy. My two big complaints about Reich so far are that and questionable depth chart decisions.
