    Said it elsewhere: I think anyone hoping that he's gonna try to force his way to Carolina is gonna be disappointed. There's just nothing to suggest that.

    I think if anybody's hoping that he's got his eyes focused on the Panthers and no one else, they're gonna be disappointed.

    Contract alteration? Could that also mean extension? An extension for Roethlisberger sounds kinda crazy.

    Yeah, that dude doesn't work there anymore. Caserio does. McNair himself wasn't really directly responsible for the prior bad deals, though it's fair to point out he was the numbskull who put Bill O'Brien in charge.

    Again, wasn't the Texans who released this. As far as their relationship, I don't think it'll ultimately be repaired but that doesn't mean they're not going to try.

    I do believe someone will acquire Stafford by trade. I just don't necessarily think it'll be us.

    Given that he's third string behind an undrafted free agent and there's talk that teammates think he's "garbage", I'm not sure I'd trade for him at all.

    That assumes they're willing to trade him though. I'm not so sure that's settled. And to be clear, the Texans weren't the ones who announced this.

    Basically: "Thanks for the enthusiasm, but the social media team doesn't work in the front office and the people who do work there don't read your social media posts." This is in response to a video of Frisman Jackson coaching receivers at the Senior Bowl getting numerous responses about trading for Deshaun Watson.

    He can do that as long as he doesn't do it publicly. Letting it be known that you're only willing to play for Team X effectively kills the trade market.

    Is anybody? And yeah, I still have to wonder if pushing for Bridgewater helped get Marty canned.

    So I've heard. And Miami is...not sh-tty. The cities are no comparison.

    If they signed up for that deal, I'd be glad Adam Peters didn't get the Panthers GM job.

    That's valid, especially when the other choice is no tax at all. Everything that San Francisco would have to offer is bound up in the team. The city? Not so much.
