I have to admit I'm a little skittish about the idea of putting us in the position of depending on someone of whom the phrase "if healthy" must be applied. Yeah, I know about Davis, but people have to remember that's a pretty unique story, not to mention a smaller player. Jake Long's knees have to be able to support a lot more weight than Thomas Bavis's do. Leg injuries are not an easy thing for big men to recover from even in the best of circumstances.

Contracts are always a little out of control early. I admit this year seems crazier than past ones, but tht could just be perception.

You're not pissing people off. I figured you were just cutting and pasting from Twitter pages that had that formatting. It's not a big deal, but you can easily reformat on here. That, or do what I do and paste into a pure text editor like Notepad, then cut and paste from there (it washes out all the formatting tags).

Don't know is it was posted but the Bears are reportedly giving Pernell McPhee 5 years, 40 million. My word, teams are overpaying like crazy.

Played all last year on the regular roster, so I don't think so (unless he fits one of those new 'exception' rules).

If not him, it'll be somebody else. Not worried.
