Per his own story, he was interviewing about 12 hours after he found out he was up for the job. Given that three days later he was named GM, I'm not really gonna doubt his prep and interview skills.

FYI: Rhule presser at 12:15 per Kristen Balboni, by the way.
-
I believe him, and I don't see it as a red flag at all, honestly.
-
I wanna go back and review that section. I thought Tepper sounded just a tiny bit testy there.

Fitterer roster philosophy in terms of importance and team building...
Mr. Scot replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Love hearing that. He said it yesterday too. -
Sarcasm? They've been in the playoffs consistently. Given their level of success vs ours, hell yeah I'd try to emulate them.

I didn't see it as an intentional shot at Bridgewater because, per his own admission, he hasn't had a chance to really evaluate the roster yet. Now once you actually sits down and looks at the tape, then he's probably gonna be saying "oh".

Man, reporters can be such dicks. Ask a question he's already said he's not gonna answer - "I'm not going to say anything about that". Phrase the same question a different way - "Again, not going to get into that" Sheesh
-
Has talked to Jeremy Chinn, will reach out to McCaffrey and others.

Alaina Getzenberg finally gets a working device
-
Big on player character and drive
-
Believes you build from the lines out, with quarterback first
-
Mentioned left tackle...

Or up.
-
Says in the draft, once you get past 16 or 17, there's not a huge difference in quality of players.
-
Sounds like he's gonna let the football people do their jobs.
-
Values decision making, intelligence, arm strength and accuracy in quarterbacks.
-
And admits he's not an evaluator and never will be. Happy to hear that.
-
Talking about biting kneecaps?
-
His history doesn't lend to that at all. I'm guessing he's just not real used to being out front.
-
Reed follows up we pretty much the same question gets the same answer. Believes in the idea that you draft or sign a quarterback every year.
-
Newton, geez. Fitterer says he needs to get to know the roster before anything else.
-
Previously knew Rhule professionally, not personally. They share philosophies, especially on player development.
-
Tepper sounds like he's trying to say something to him. Damn, Person looks like he just got out of bed.
-
Holy cow, Gantt looks like he's aged. Tepper on mute
