  1. Someone did. And Incognito was signed by the Bills several weeks ago.
  2. I'm not a big fan, but I'd see it as an "aw hell, why not" signing. Maybe he can be coached up. If not, no major consequences.
  3. There's the Jets former first rounder, Kyle Wilson (if you believe he's fixable).
  4. I don't want them to lose their first rounder. I want them to keep it and use it on Randy Gregory because I don't believe he'll be that good. Let em lose their second and third.
  5. Closing the comments tells me he was probably just pulling stuff out of his ass and he knows he got called on it.
  6. Word was that they'd like to use that pick on Randy Gregory. If they lose it, ouch.
  7. I can name several teams that are interested in Jennings. Can you name someone with an interest in Nicks?
  8. I'd have to look it up to be sure, but I think technically Fox has more experience in roster building than their GM does.
  9. Then why is he unemployed? (heck, I can't recall even seeing that anybody was interested in him)
  10. Don't bother beginning. He's one of the 'whine about everything' crowd. When a guy starts off with a goofy line like "there's more to the draft than just drafting players", it's a pretty solid clue that there's nothing to be gained by trying to explain anything for him.
  11. Not last year, he wasn't. I know we have a lot of Nicks fanboys on here, but the reality is he's just not that good anymore. More to the point, he's not as good (or worth as much money) as he thinks he is.
  12. Not that bugged by it. Here's hoping he regrets this decision and we don't.
  13. I've used Elway before, and I think it's a valid one. There are similarities between Favre and Elway too.
  14. It's always been my favorite comparison for Cam. People wanted to compare him to Vick. He's nothing like Vick. Newton and Vick have about as much on common as Ben Roethlisberger and RG3. And speaking of Big Ben, I've seen that comparison too, but I've never liked it because I think Roethlisberger is overrated.
  15. That'd be no shock. Crabtree and Wisniewski are both guys known for having egos. Spikes might be one of those guys who finds a home shortly after the draft.
  16. I thought Wisniewski would get more attention. Maybe a lot of the decision makers are guys who hated his dad. (Lord knows there were plenty of those in the NFL)
  17. Oh goody. This discussion again. We haven't had this debate in...what, a week? In any case, let me try and throw in some perspective here. Some years back, I remember watching this young quarterback. He was immensely talented, supremely confident and had a rocket launcher for an arm. He was also all too often inconsistent and erratic. He could throw absolutely perfect passes on one offensive series and then be wildly off the mark in the next. He won a lot of games, but he was a big part of some painful losses too. Some people said he was a future MVP. Others thought he'd be good, but not great. "Too inconsistent" was the criticism, and it was arguably a valid one. His team, however, believed in him. And it turned out to be a wise decision. Years later, he helped lead them to a Super Bowl. So did he correct his issues? Well...not really. In truth, he remained somewhat inconsistent his entire career. Still, there was more good than bad, and he's now talked about as one of the best ever. I see a lot of similarities between that guy and Cam Newton. Newton has a lot of the same strengths and many of the same flaws. But if that guy can be successful, why not Newton? I'm actually blanking on that guy's name, but I know he played for the Packers and I think he wore number four. (maybe someone could look him up)
  18. I don't consider SB Nation all that different from Bleacher Report.
