Most of us here could give decent to pretty good analysis of the Panthers. Our knowledge of most other teams however would be limited to stuff we've heard from various sources (and not especially reliable). It's why I prefer local beat writers to national guys. They're not as well known and might not have had football careers, but they're only trying to cover a single team. In-depth knowledge of 32 teams at once would be an extremely difficult thing to maintain.

True that not everything was Young's fault. Also true that Young isn't very good.

We stopped running it even before we got down by twenty.

Never should have been one... Dalton was always a short term answer. The only question was how short.

More than a few Browns fans would suggest that idea for Jim Haslam

Only one way to make that happen, and it's already been mentioned.

Do any of the head coaches Rhule beat still have their jobs? I thought there was like one guy remaining but I'm not certain.

There's likely a few people who'd agree

Not surprising after watching 17 games worth of Young... -
... yet still won't learn football.

The answer is the same as it's been for the past several years. He needs to bring in a football guru, hand that guy the keys to everything and resign himself to doing nothing but signing checks. The only question is who that guy should be. Ship has likely sailed on Kevin Colbert though I suppose it still could happen. My top choice right now would be Will McClay but there could be other options.

I'd agree... Marty Hurney got saved from a fair number of dumb moves by someone else making them first. That particular brand of luck probably also applies to David Tepper.

What would you do with our guaranteed top 3 draft pick?

That should have been the plan two drafts ago -
Fox announcers were talking about Watson meeting a "reset"... (insert comment here)

Tepper still needs to let a true football guy some on and rebuild the entire operation. My current vote for that is Will McClay. -

Probably still too early to answer that. I know the biggest positional need is quarterback, but I seriously question whether there are any quarterbacks in this year's draft wotth that kind of pick. -

As an appetizer or a side I can see it, just not as an entree. Mind you, I think the best thing Longhorn Steakhouse has to offer is their parmesan crusted chicken -
Canales wasn't good, but he is still a rookie coaching his first few games. Too early to have a complete read on him either way.

No TE should ever alligator arm a ball. That's just unacceptable. -

I'm not convinced Shedeur is more than just a good college QB yet. -

Yep. This is not a benching. It's a surrender.
