Panthers "a top candidate" for HBO's Hard Knocks
Mr. Scot replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
One thing I think is abundantly clear: Tepper wants the Panthers to be in the public eye. Thus he's open to reality show type programming Heck, besides All or Nothing, the team had their own reality type thing on site last offseason. Well, at least until the Cam Newton fiasco seemingly brought it to a screeching halt, which makes me think that there are some limits (they don't want to look bad). Lord knows Jerry Richardson wanted anything behind the scenes locked down tighter than Fort Knox, but Tepper really seems to enjoy the visibility of being in the spotlight. -
Report: Deshaun Watson would OK trade to Carolina Panthers

That's probably an appropriate image to use for this post. -
I'd say he's a bad person regardless of what he does with his money.

Gas station fried chicken... I was thinking of having a snack but I'm not really hungry anymore
-
It's not that terrible a scenario. We do need offensive line help.

To be fair, fans do that on their own. Cowboy fans will have their Super Bowl parties planned out by mid-August. -
Yep. Side Note: I do like Bojangles' food but after eating it I always wind up scrubbing my hands like a surgeon in pre-op

I detect the ever so slightest hint of sarcasm

Richardson probably would have loved having McCarron here. (for...reasons) -
Try changing your name to Mrs Jeff Bezos and let me know if that works. (if you really want to get away with it though, you probably better make sure there are no meddling kids around)

Washington Football Team Ownership change?
Mr. Scot replied to Harbingers's topic in Carolina Panthers
Some would say that's appropriate. -
That was always a possibility. Long way to go before anything's set in stone though.
-
I could see that. And yeah, I had the same thought about us.
-
They could just be calling to ask questions rather than making an actual offer, though I vaguely remember somebody mentioning they thought we'd received an offer. Might have been Verge but I don't remember.

"Washington Team of Football" would make for a more appropriate acronym. -

You'll notice the quotation marks... -
That plus everybody waiting to see what everybody else is gonna do. Darnold was expected to be the next domino, but the Jets are taking their sweet time deciding what to do with him. I'd say that's a smart decision on their part, honestly. (not something you hear said about the Jets all that much)

I don't really think it's clickbait. Hanzus speculation does make some sense, especially when you remember All or Nothing. -
Well the clip does say that people were calling us about Bridgewater, but same as with everybody else, nothing's happening right now. Does make me wonder what we'd try to get out of it.

What could go wrong? I remember when "the public" chose the Bobcats name for the Hornets. -
He does love Wofford. He also loves having his name on things and this is probably his best shot at that. I know he was pretty pissed about his "legacy" with the Panthers basically going away. And of course that statue that he "never wanted"

The title is actually taken from the headline of the NFL update I got. -
That's a real possibility.

Haven't they previously had a rule that said teams with first year coaches or new ownership or something like that wouldn't be used?
