  1. As someone who also has two older sisters, my favorite part...
  2. My significant other would say Dak Prescott. (I'm not sure I would but I can't say that out loud)
  3. What? You're not satisfied with Tre Boston?
  4. I'll say this. I know people have talked about how the Seahawks got Russell Wilson, and extrapolated that to say that you could get a franchise quarterback without necessarily using a high pick. While that's technically true, it's also extremely hard, and I think Fitterer knows this. Guys like Wilson and Brady are lightning in a bottle, the exception rather than the norm. I don't believe for one moment that Fitterer's going to try to duplicate that here, nor should he.
  5. Fitterer mentioned arm strength as something he values in a quarterback.
  6. I think trading down is very possible...in future drafts. It's purely a gut feeling, but I think if we do trade in the first round of this draft it's going to be up, not down.
  7. Rhule told Joe Person he likes having more picks because you have a better chance of hitting on your picks. In the process, he basically confirmed that he wanted to trade down last year.
  8. Jonathan Jones said it would take at least McCaffrey and Brian Burns plus picks to make that trade.
  9. With him being someone that Rhule tried to recruit to Baylor, definitely.
  10. Scott Fowler asked him a question about having "his guys" in charge now. Tepper mentioned that he got some criticism for his moves early on citing that some people "said I got rid of Rivera too early...moved on from Rivera too early". He did acknowledge that the team is now run by people he chose rather than people he inherited. As such, there's no one else to blame if things go wrong.
  11. Gut feeling: I think he's given at least some preliminary thought to trading up.
  12. Let's not leave out this part... "I believe in drafting/acquiring a quarterback every year."
  13. Think of it this way... When you look at Sean McDermott, do you see a carbon copy of Ron Rivera? Likewise, can't assume Fitterer will be exactly like John Schneider.
  14. I don't think we should assume it will be. All of us have things we'd do differently than our boss if we were in charge.
  15. Interviewing personnel people is a lot like interviewing coordinators. How much credit does Eric Bieniemy deserve for the Chiefs successes or failures as opposed to Andy Reid? Same question with Fitterer, Carroll and Schneider. There's just no way to know. We'll find out once he starts building a roster.
  16. Watching Rhule's presser, he mentions that he recruited Mac Jones at Baylor.
  17. Per his own story, he was interviewing about 12 hours after he found out he was up for the job. Given that three days later he was named GM, I'm not really gonna doubt his prep and interview skills.
  18. FYI: Rhule presser at 12:15 per Kristen Balboni, by the way.
  19. I believe him, and I don't see it as a red flag at all, honestly.
