We used to talk about members of the hundred million dollar quarterback club having no Super Bowl victories. From what I know, they still don't have much to speak of. Teams are spending ridiculous amounts of money on the quarterback spot and not getting an ideal return on investment.

Yes, first round picks can bust, but if your team is so bad at drafting that they pick three or four busts straight, you've got deeper problems than any one player (including a star quarterback) can solve.

The Eagles have indicated they're sticking with Wentz, so it doesn't matter. People previously floated the possibility of Wentz going to the Colts to rejoin Frank Reich. Now that's a heavily speculated destination for Matt Stafford.

Depends on the status of your team. If you're pretty close to being a Super Bowl contender, then while I'm not a big fan of it, I can see it. For a rebuilding team though, that's just giving up too much.

Adam Schefter believes there are only around ten truly entrenched starters across the league and is predicting an "unprecedented" offseason for quarterback movement, with as many as eighteen teams or more making changes at that spot. There was a decent amount of QB movement last year (including our own shift from Cam Newton to Teddy Bridgewater) but it sounds like this year might be even more active. Gotta figure that includes us again. The question is how and when it happens.

David Tepper has been preaching patience, long-term thinking, five year plan, etc. If he turns around and goes into "win now" mode in year two after a five win season, I'm gonna be kinda disappointed, honestly.

If you're talking about the Coastal Carolina game, that's not really true. Wilson had his team in position to win, but his receivers let him down. Honestly, receivers were letting him down pretty much all game.

Former player who has a radio show out in California says Stafford's favorite destinations are, in order... 1. 49ers 2. Colts 3. Jets 4. Bears 5. Panthers Also says that the 49ers are already talking trade terms with the Lions. How reliable is that? Don't know, but the 49ers absolutely make sense. Every quarterback wants to play in Kyle Shanahan's system. Ditto the Colts. They're built to win now and have a solid offensive line. Stafford hasn't seen that in years. The Jets? Possible, I suppose. They're starting fresh, and he might have a connection or two there (I haven't looked it up). And the Bears would make sense as a "screw you" to his prior team. Us? Primary factor would be Sean Ryan I suppose, although he might like what he sees of Joe Brady's offense too. and from what I've heard, Matt Rhule is well thought of around the league. Bottom Line: If I where to make a guess, it would probably be the Colts but San Francisco could make a pretty strong case.

Have said many times, not a big Stafford fan... It is true, however, that Stafford's skill set would fit extremely well with Joe Brady's offense.

Valid. Though to be clear, Brugler was talking strictly about players who are at the Senior Bowl. I'd be pretty happy with Wilson, but few if any believe he'll drop to us unless we trade up.
