  1. Edward Woodward was phenomenal. He didn't have to be physically imposing for you to be afraid of him.
  2. Not throwing money at guys coming off major injuries in the hope that maybe they're healthy would probably be a good step on our part too.
  3. I don't buy into the NFL being rigged, but that was as poorly officiated a game as I've seen in a while.
  4. To be fair, the original was an out of shape British guy in his 60s. Always liked that show though. Threats sound way cooler when they're delivered with an English accent.
  5. Wouldn't bet on that. Sports talk, whether it's online, on radio or on TV is likely to be talking about how that game was officiated for a while. It doesn't mean the Chiefs didn't deserve to lose, but any criticism the NFL gets for how crappy a job those refs did is justified.
  6. There's a difference between blaming the refs and saying the refs were bad. Poor officiating may have contributed, but there were many other factors which can be blamed on the Chiefs themselves. With that said, the officiating in this game was horse sh-t, and that would have been true no matter who won the game.
  7. You generally do see the starting quarterback included in things like this, but as mentioned in the other discussion, last year's promos didn't include Cam either.
  8. Last year's season promos didn't include Newton either.
  9. Terry McAulay was criticizing the calls on his Twitter. Others like Boomer, Chris Simms and many more had a thing or two to say as well.
  10. When you've got commentators and even former officials willing to call out the refs, it's a bad look.
  11. Well, all in all, this season was sh-t
  12. An eight to one advantage in penalties called against you doesn't exactly hurt either. I don't believe the NFL is rigged, but damn that was an ugly performance.
  13. This might be one of those weeks where I need to turn off the TV and the radio and just ignore anything related to sports.
  14. Not entirely true. Bill Voth confirmed that in Super Bowl 50, Remmers was supposed to have help blocking Von Miller, but apparently it never showed up. Unknown who it was supposed to be but a couple of people have pointed a finger at Mike Tolbert.
  15. Blaine Gabbert will now have a Super Bowl ring.
  16. I think it was Bruschi but I'm not positive.
  17. Guy walked out in a referee outfit and peeled it off. In that game though, the dipsh-t got his clock cleaned by one of the Patriots defensive players.
  18. Security doesn't have 80,000 people to watch. There's like one tenth capacity in the stands and everybody has to be distanced. How the hell does something like that happen in this situation?
  19. Okay the "wasn't me" commercial was funny.
  20. Yeah, you knew that flag wasn't going to be on the defense.
  21. I've watched maybe one halftime show in the last decade or so. I think the last time I watched a halftime show was when Janet Jackson's boob came out.
  22. And he's not alone. For anybody who thinks this is just fans b-iching, you might want to check out this Twitter account belonging to longtime NFL official Terry McAulay. https://mobile.twitter.com/SNFRules
