Kiper Mock 2.0: Mac Jones to Panthers at #8.

To be fair, Weinke was about 40 years old. But yeah, there have been a fair number of national championship quarterbacks that haven't exactly been draft darlings. -
If we trade for squatson, do we go wr as early as possible?

I was actually gonna ask that too -

People keep attributing rational thought processes to the Texans. Always makes me feel like asking "Have you heard about this team?" -
Yeah. That's a classic double take. "They're willing to trade a young first round player for that little compensation? Great!" "Wait a minute... Why?"

I don't know that you do. But to make the trade happen, you have to find a way for the owner to not be a stubborn, vindictive, egotistical a--hole. I question whether that can be accomplished. -
I like those with jelly.

No argument on that, especially since Goodell took over.

You still have to account for McNair though. For all we know, Caserio might have a perfectly reasonable take on things. But if McNair doesn't, here we stay. -

I think there's probably a fair amount of crossover between "The Patriot Way" and "Stockholm Syndrome". Looks like it might start falling apart with Brady gone though. -

"What the Texans should do" and "What the Texans will do" are two separate lists that probably don't have much of anything in the way of common items between them. -

They were winning. Nobody had nay leverage. The Texans have no such leverage, but that doesn't necessarily stop them from acting like they do. -
Granted. Don't think that'd stop the NFL from getting royally pissed about something like this though.
