  1. Young guys know their first opportunity might be their only one. With that knowledge, would you want to work for David Tepper?
  2. No one questions Tepper's balls. A lot of us question his brains.
  3. The bigger question is who's going to tie their career to David Tepper? Is a young guy whose first opportunity might be his only opportunity going to want to come work for an owner who meddles and then is impatient with the results?
  4. The tweet saying that people in the building hadn't been told yet means that yes, the media had it before people who it directly affected were informed. That's incredibly unprofessional. The toxic environment that exists around this team is not the fault of anybody except David Tepper. Frankly, it exists in pretty much every enterprise he owns. He's the problem. But what makes it worse is he thinks he's the hero.
  5. Do we trust him to identify that person though? I know who I have in mind, but I have no idea whether Tepper will go that route
  6. That's probably about his only chance of getting decent candidates. That said, I seriously question whether Tepper knows how to identify "real football people".
  7. Could easily have been made as an anonymous team announcement. This is Tepper trying to play the hero while not understanding that in reality, he's the villain.
  8. Frank being fired is just the latest log on the fire. Tepper's reputation around the league is pretty bad, both for meddling and being difficult to work for. And then you have to throw in that you come in with no first round pick and a quarterback you can't move on from for at least a year.
  9. Tepper making the announcement himself is another sign of his unchecked ego
  10. Ben Johnson is going to have way better opportunities than the kind of toxic atmosphere this team has.
  11. Yeah, actually. Our current DC turned down the interim job. Also, the Broncos are a team with a lot better history and more respected ownership than we are. David Tepper is considered a bad owner to work for per sources all around the league.
  12. Garafolo was wrong, or more likely he was right at the time and things changed after the game.
  13. Garafolo was wrong, or perhaps was right at the time but things changed after yesterday's game.
  14. Some of what I've read makes me think this is a real possibility, especially the reports from Dianna Russini.
  15. Here's the video of Garafolo making the comment... So this was said yesterday before the game. Might not make a difference, but it's worth noting.
  16. Adrian Wilson arrived too late in the offseason to have much of an impact.
