  1. And still more people talking about the quarterback decision... There are an awful lot of people saying this
  2. He's followed by Ian Rapaport, Aaron Wilson, Jonathan Jones and several thousand others, so yes he's legit.
  3. Sheena Quick mentions in this clip that she too has heard that Tepper interfered in the quarterback choice.
  4. Haiving McCaffrey in the Panthers offense was like owning a Ferrari that you use to drive to the grocery store and/or Walmart. We never had a coach that really knew how to use him.
  5. Re: the "somebody will want the job" thing... Some are estimating there may be as many as seven or eight openings next year.
  6. I think they got lucky in that regard. Prior to that though, it was Lovie Smith and David Culley. Those weren't exactly what I'd call "high demand" choices.
  7. Howe didn't say, but looking back I'd guess at least one of them was Demeco Ryans.
  8. Team move would require league approval from a majority of the owners. I really don't see that happening.
  9. Yeah, it was never about the Panthers, at least not last year. Jeff Howe did report though that others dropped out or declined specifically because of Tepper.
  10. Yeah, that doesn't mean hiring a Jeff Saturday will work.
  11. I don't think he wants a perfect situation. I do think he probably wants a situation better than what we have to offer, and I honestly can't blame him for that.
  12. Yeah, nobody's "hoping for the worst possible outcome". That's frankly pretty arrogant to suggest. The reality is a lot of folks don't believing David Tepper, and frankly why should any of us? To this point, he's done nothing but fail. I'd add that for every analyst who says that this is a desirable job, there are probably four or five who say just the opposite. And they don't just say so emptily. There are legitimate reasons, nearly all of them bound up in the owner. Bottom Line: I and many others sertainly hope for the best, but it'd take an awful lot to get us to a point of expecting good things.
  13. Fair... Understood, but it's also true that Dallas moved on without him and didn't miss a beat (arguably got better).
  14. Kellen Moore is one of the least experienced options out there. Also probably worth mentioning that the Cowboys haven't missed a beat without him while the new team he went to is set to fire their head coach also.
  15. That doesn't sound like a formula for "enjoying him on a personal level".
