Also… Rangers need to start losing some games. They got it pretty easy until the start of March.

One caveat… Florida did that with 16 skaters for 2 periods. I think we would have done the same, but just saying. Rematch is March 14th back at PNC.

Pyotr’s postgame interview was epic. He said he jumped in “no fight” but “control” because their team had 6 skaters and we had 5. “Just protect my guys”.

That was pure playoff hockey… you can see how we upped the physicality in the game. Which is not something we normally do at that level until the playoffs. We usually try to play up to the other team’s level of physicality in the regular season.

The accuracy on that Aho shot was insane. With how many gaping nets they gave us I’m glad to see we got the win. Thank you hockey gods.
