You think he can pass? Look at those two.
-
It’s more on Kuz. He’s used to playing with bigger guys in Washington + Rust + Zero Practice with the team so he doesn’t know their sweet spots. He will adjust.

?

Yep. But now Calgary is gonna get 5 of those.
-
That wasn’t even a trip… We gonna pay the piper later for that one…

Uh oh… Rod said “drury knee” “not to long” “but something to be concerned about.”

I feel like after that trade Pittsburgh just gave up. They are giving up 4+ goals since. -

Ugh that Edmonton goal sucked for bunts. You could tell he wanted to/was play/cheating man and had zero defensemen behind him. Pens left him out to dry there. -
@Anybodyhome you said you were traveling during that last game. Did you manage to catch it on the radio, if so what was tripps take on that Goaltender Interference/Offsides BS?
-
Frankly a bit surprised that it’s Andersen, as I figured we’d go Martin tonight > Pyotr Rags > Freddie Florida. Martin hasn’t played in like 10 days or something, I don’t see us starting him against either of our two biggest challenges but he needs game time. No surprise on Drury, he definitely tweaked his leg on that boards hit/crash. As well as hit his head. Guessing Kuz will be centering 2 tonight. Here’s to hoping Guns can play Tuesday…

Sticking with Kuz
-
No morning skate for obvious reasons so no clue who gets the net. I have a sneaking suspicion it’ll be Martin though.
-
He couldn’t do poo about that last goal. He had burn’s head in his lap and our defense completely collapsed around him for that whole NJ forecheck. I’m sure Rod is gonna be giving them an earful about that during tape review.

I don’t. I’m pretty sure the reason we never get goaltender interference calls our way unless there is irrefutable evidence was because of what Rod originally did in terms of bitching out the refs when Dundon paid his fine. I mean, 7-20? Fug Bettman. I’m sure he told the review room to fug Rod every chance they get. Some refs I like and seem to not be as trash to us. But some of these newer refs man and the ones that seem to have a stick up their ass more… -

Welp blues failed us, rags had a goodly helping hand from the refs from what I saw though. -

Half the flyers in the box. Tort’s got the boot and the Lightning have already scored 4…. And the clock just passed 11 minutes in. -
Hopefully, we’ll learn more about Guentzel tomorrow. Today is technically his last day of LTIR per the broadcast. I highly doubt we’d just throw him in against the flames though tomorrow. I’m assuming no skate Monday. Maybe an optional. Maybe a morning skate against NY. If he’s realistically ready to play I’d bet the Panthers. Who’s knows if he’s ready or not though.

Not bad for Kuz. Solid game from Pesce too on defense.
-
Also refs told Rod it would be a 4 on 3 that’s why he challenged. They should have confirmed with the league and came back to him if they weren’t sure.
-
Ok refs really did fug us here. Should have called it a goal, if it was offsides then jersey could have challenged.
-
-
He was cheating zone defense a lot. Kept seeing him try to go house but he’ll figure it out.

Ok what the fug is this big city greens thing? -
I’m saying his career average is 44% in the faceoff dot. 44.1 or something so to see him break that 50% mark in his first game after not having played for a month and a half essentially is good thing to see. Though I do think jersey is deficient in the dot. We’ll see once we get NY and the panthers.
