Kinda glad Lemieux and TDA are playing tonight. I expect a very chippy Philly.

Rod thought Drury and TT were gonna be good today but I guess the med staff leaned the other way. Maybe tomorrow. At least it will give TDA a game. We need to start rotating him in to give Burns, Skjei, etc a game off during this hellish schedule running into the playoffs.

I can’t remember if Pollock was a favorable or not ref for us but man that sucks.

Also apparently Pyotr is not at practice at all, even though Martin appears to be perma-backup, I think the off day goalie still morning skates usually. Dunno if it’s a maintenance day or what.

TT drawing in on 4, no Fast(maybe a maintenance no MS thing? Or we could be rotating banged up players since we have depth currently) Won’t know till Rod speaks.

Don’t discount turbo though. The guy is one of our best 2 way forwards, is a unrated passer plus a decent shot and is a heavier forecheck than Jarvis when he’s playing physical(his board puck control game is miles ahead of Jarvis still). That said I could see him slotting in the shutdown line against top teams though. Jarvis’s individual offensive ceiling is higher for sure, but he also plays a similar role to Guenz. That why I think allowing Guenz to play his normal role with TT doing setup is the best way to go against most teams.

Drury ya. TT could be dropped in on 1 with no ill effects in my opinion. He’d probably even boost Guenz shooting opportunities more so than the current makeup.

Will be curious to see if TT draws back in tonight and where. Also Drury should be getting close.
