  1. Wow, thats honestly sooner than I was expecting.
  2. Ditto. This isn't the year to be throwing away all our draft picks. If parsons is there take him at 8 or trade back and accumulate picks.
  3. And the entire contingent of refs in your pocket. Don't forget about that. Thats a pretty big deal too.
  4. The defense did not improve. Ya they played a good game vs. the horrible Lions and WFT. But otherwise they struggled to even force a punt. As a unit perhaps they will do better this season but I remain firm they do not have the proper coaching to improve to elite NFL status.
  5. 1-3 this series. Not opportune. Not a fan of those mixed lines there when we we're trying to make a push. 3-2 TB overall this year. We won't see them for a while. When we do I expect a serious Vengeance.
  6. This ain't for a lack of good shots for sure. But their goalies are just getting the perfect bounce. He wasn't even looking at that last shot.
  7. Having flash backs to Boston last year. At least we are getting fugging shots this time.
  8. Ok luck. We need some of you. We just ain't getting the bounce.
  9. I like how we are getting a little more physical this period. Come on 4th line. Unleash the beast!
  10. We just let off a little steam after that penalty kill epicness.
  11. Statistically ya, if his sample size was 10 games instead of 4 though I think the stats would look a lot different.
  12. Are they ever gonna call a high stick on Tampa Bay? Also nice penalty save on the 2 on 1 but I didn't see a penalty. Also trust Reimer way more with a 1v1 then Ned.
  13. Gardiner back out, Fleury Back in w/ Bean. Don't like it. Think it should be Gardiner and Fleury.
  14. Lets say hypothetically you could pick one of the above five QB's strings attached obviously but you were guaranteed the one you picked. Taking out the potential cost of all of them in trade/draft, etc but considering where we are as a team, roster, coaching curve and the player themselves. Which would you pick? Trevor Lawrence - On a rookie deal. Zach Wilson - On a rookie deal. Deshaun Watson - with 1 year @16 Mil 2 years @40 Mil, Potential out and then 2 years at 35M~ Russell Wilson - 32, 37, 40M respectively. Sam Howell - On a rookie deal but in 2022.
  15. Said it before but ill say it again. We cannot trade for Watson with CMC and Tag Moton + pay for our remaining rookie contracts where we are cap wise right now so a lot of other moves would have to be made. In reality the Texan don't have the cap space for CMC + all the other running backs they traded for and can't get rid of them while staying in the positive so to speak. So they can't either. I also have a feeling CMC would be a stipulation for Watson coming here. That leaves us with Burns, Brown and Chinn as bargaining pieces. All three would cost us cap space this year but as they are rookie contracts its not nearly as much as CMC would.
  16. TAMPA - A four-game set between the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning comes to a close in the second half of a back-to-back. The Match-Up Carolina Hurricanes (12-5-1, 25 points) at Tampa Bay Lightning (12-4-1, 25 points) Thursday, Feb. 25, 7 p.m. Watch: FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports GO Listen: 99.9 FM The Fan, Hurricanes.com/Listen, Hurricanes app Numbers to Know 20-4-2: In his last 28 regular-season games with the Canes, James Reimer has posted a 20-4-2 record with a 2.71 goals-against average, .911 save percentage and three shutouts. 2-1-0: Tonight's game closes out the Canes' fourth of now nine back-to-back games this season. Forwards Svechnikov-Aho-McGinn Niederreiter-Trocheck-Necas Foegele-Staal-Fast Paquette-Lorentz-Martinook Defensemen Slavin-Hamilton Skjei-Pesce Gardiner-Bean Goalies Reimer Nedeljkovic Scratch: Fleury Still don't get why everyone is hot on bean after the last two games. Should be Gardiner and Fleury. Curious if Rod blends the lines a little more or goes back to this basic setup tonight. Also really wish we had TT at this point. Don't exactly know NHL concussion rules but we likely could be down him until at least next Thursday if he doesn't travel separate of the team.
  17. ^ This. Seriously. If we aren't figuring a way to get Lawrence this year.
  18. NFL and Owners council wanted Tepper. Didn't Navarro offer way more?
  19. 6 firsts and 6 seconds and 6 thirds + CMC, Burns, Chinn, Teddy, Brown, DJ For Watson. Would you do it?
