Ya, with the fans there tonight and their grasp on the series slipping fast we are going to have to play fast and hard tonight. Use their chippiness against them. The last time we were there we weren’t playing at 100% for sure and not even close the following game. Now we have 2/3 of our real fourth line back which so far as frustrated their “Herd” line to all hell. It’ll be interesting to see how they match up now though since they have last change. Score early and keep pounding the Fug out of them with legit hits are going to be our keys, once we get into the second period start playing our grind game and don’t let up.

I’m down with it. It’s the playoffs now. Plus the last time we tried to have him go three in a row 2 two were back to back. I think win or lose we may see Mrazek tomorrow.

Ya I’m split between two camps. Either hope Slavin can play tonight and like you said take the rest of the series off, or hopefully win without him tonight have him on Sunday to try and sweep this thing in that scenario. Ya I don’t put much stock in it either cause it doesn’t represent the player as much as the whole team. It’s just slightly concerning almost every season he’s pretty far in the negative. Especially due to the fact it sounds like we are playing him over Gardiner in case we end up in the box a half dozen more times tonight. its gotta be tough coming in on the leagues best penalty kill flat and trying not to make a mistake:

No Slavo or Gardiner. Dunno if Gardiner is a healthy scratch. Apparently this Max Lajorie guy was a huge PKer for the wolves this season. That said he was -25 in his one season with Ottawa. And is combined like -60 we’ll have to see about this guy...

Taraves was trying to sit up on his own but had minimal control over his faculties in this instance. That’s why the trainer immediately grabbed his neck from both sides. At least that showed us he had full control of all his limbs even if he was completely discombobulated. There is no reason for a trainer to intentionally sit him up. The most is rolling him on his back in case of seizure.

Nope and if they lose tonight I’m just worried they’ll fold it during game 4. As for the rest, I hope we can blank Nashville but I don’t think they’ll start round 2 until all round 1 teams are done. They might though and leave the break after division play. Since they already have to figure out what to do with the Canadian team. That seems like the most logical point this season.

The hit was completely unintentional, not sure how i feel about this fight. Perry is already visibly shaken. Perry didnt even fight back. just took his punches.
