How much of the Jets performance was really on Darnold?
Harbingers replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d say a lot. Darnold is a huge gamble, I think his ceiling is a delhomme style. But I also don’t know if this coaching staff has the experience to even get him up to that level. -

Man I hope Foegs is a go tonight. Geekie honestly I think played better than Lorentz last night. Generated a few good opportunities. I’d move him up a line and let Marty try and elevate the 4th line. Foegs has been stellar this series so far though. Not showing up on the score sheet but the dude has probably the most take aways, rush chance generations on the team. I’d love to see Fast up his game a little too, the dude is a grinder but his matchups haven’t been great this series so far. -

It’s Mrazek unless rod was pulling an epic smokescreen earlier. -

I thought he got a stick to it. Still trying to find an actual replay of the deflect. -
I can’t imagine this is gonna be a short surgery. They say 3-4 hours without any previous work done but each previous surgery adds hours into the process. Stay strong Greg.

Common’ TJ. Hopefully the surgery and healing go smoothly. Nobodies gonna have more respect for life than this little guy.

Agreed last night was do or die but I’d still like to see the win tomorrow night going back home with a day or two off. Rod is speaking around 1, so hopefully we get a Foegs update. But we are starting to feel that attrition. Either scenario will work but I think if we can win tomorrow, two days off, win at home with the chance to clinch at Tampa in a potential game six would be a huge boost. -

Cause they are rushing to get things done so they can have a regular season in October. I don’t know why they didn’t stack the days of rest before the series though. Instead after game four for us and game one for Vegas/Avs. Luckily, we get 2 days off after game four so we can go straight home Saturday night after the game and get our boys two days rest at home where as Tampa will only have one full day off. -

Mrazek, easy. Ride the hot hand at least until game 5 but more overly until one of them loses again. -

Honestly both of those goals were flukes in a way. Ya they both were cycle goals, something we rarely allowed all season but mostly just cause one of our guys over skated. We did a lot better on third not getting out of position or getting stuffed on the wall and getting the puck to our stretch defense mode. That said… Ned has been stellar on the PK and Mrazek hasn’t had the time in net in game to get comfortable. You really only started to see him do his head shake thing after a save in the third. It’s a trade off. I’m not sure Ned saves 35/37 but who knows. -

Ok so apparently he left after he went out to test it? I know the announcers said he was out there in the third. He’s been underrated this series for sure. Foegs would be a bigger miss than Tro or Nino honestly at this point. Who do you bump too? Paquette or Lorentz in the event all three are out? -

Wasn’t Foegs back out there for most of the 3rd? I think who ever said it was a dislocate was probably right but hopefully it shouldn’t have any serious short term lasting effects. -
