Cause they weren’t nearly as terrible even 5 years ago. Used to actually have meaningful interviews and give fans a broad overview of what to look for that day. Now they are 2% info and 98% fluff.

CMC + defense are gonna be the keys. CMC accounted for 49~% of our yards vs. the jets. Let’s hope we don’t have to put him at 30+ touches again though.

True and I agree. Though I look at Rhule as an investment, not saying Tepper knows football. Just that he made an investment in Rhule as a coach and he does know investments.

Tepper knows how to pick his investments. Tepper invested in him. I don’t see any chance in hell of Rhule mid season. He’s not that kinda guy, he’s a process guy and going to a college team mid stream just makes absolutely no sense. Plus what would USC offer him? It’s not like they gutted their athletics director too. 80-100 million? That’s Nick Saban levels.

I don’t see him jumping ship now though. There is no way he leaves/Tepper let’s him leave. This isn’t college. There’s nobody left to run the team if he leaves either, snow will piggy back him, Brady would probably be HC with a nonexistent coaching staff. Tepper, by way of his business, doesn’t let those kind of implosions happen. All I see if a college talking head spewing bullshit way out of his league. After the season if we have a shitty season than idk. Rhule is an East coast guy though. There’s nothing that says he’d want to go to USC besides the fact he’d be handed the keys of a college Lamborghini.
