    Ya that’s my thinking rest Cole, put TDA as 7(O switch) and let Chatfield cover the right 3 with Smith. Rotate TDA, Bear and Chatfield basically with Slavin and Smith and put a heavy work load on D 2. But the sustainability of that is gonna be the kicker.

    Did Marty even travel? I have a feeling he probably won’t see him until January from what Rod said. I’m guessing we dress 7D again. Perhaps Marty’s timetable is better than was led to believe though cause if it’s Canadian rules we may not see Aho and Jarvis until the 28th. If they just have to pass two negative tests then hopefully before Christmas but I doubt it.

    I really wonder if we are going to even play tomorrow if the canes are still in Vancouver.

    Oh fug me. Aho & Jarvis, plus some training staff have entered the protocol and are stuck in Vancouver.

    I’m not sure if he has an exemption that allows him to skip waivers when sent down to the AHL or not. I think he has three more games until he has to pass waivers when getting sent down but I’m not positive.

    No way. They got nothing on South Korea. Those guys literally work, go drink with coworkers until it’s time to sleep an hour and then go back to work.

    I’m not really sure what we are gonna do with Chatfield, can do, even. He’s not going to make it through waivers right now. He’s also apparently injured. I missed it last night so we might be able to IR him. We want Chatfield vs. speedier teams but Smith against division rivals, bruisers where we are going to need another enforcer.

    They’ve been out for a week almost. But since Canada has 14 days they couldn’t travel there until Yesterday and I think Rod was like, eh, just let them meet us down in Minnesota. So ya I imagine they have been getting some training time down in Carolina.

    They are scheduled to be there and play according to the beat writers via the teams PR. We’ll need them especially if Aho is out again.

    Parroting almost exactly what Rhule said. It’s ridiculous. Yes 3 turn overs are a big issue but hiding behind that as the singular reason you lost the game?

    How bad were the boos when they trotted PJ out there? I heard them the second time on the broadcast.

    I know it’s on ESPN+ as one of their premiere games. Would not be surprised if it’s a nationwide broadcast game.

    It would be announced if it was covid. Unless we are trying to be sneaky and get him back across the border before announcing but I think it’s the flu. There has been something going around the team that’s not covid for weeks now.
