Gonna have to rewatch the game in the AM but from the bits and pieces I could catch it sounds like KK was taking control and being a leader. I like that. Also was Jack’s goal EN or did he get another one?

I mean Rod did get coach of the year… but ya it better be a whole story line later in the season.

Busy up tonight but saw that hit. Necas was seriously concussed. If we see him before mid January I’d be surprised.

It appears that’s 7 is the cutoff besides Canada.

How many does Minnesota have out at this point?

Sounds like Boston is out.

I think we play tomorrow, maybe Sunday before they end up shutting us down. Even though I know they want us to play Boston.

Oof goaltending coach is in the protocol now too. I think Rod is resigned to the fact he’s going to test positive at some point.

Absolutely brutal.

Nah, gotta go basically a football DL rotation, where think the D is the LB core. So we rotate either the rooks or one pro with two rooks. Keep D1 and D2 on the once for double shifts. Play one rooks + Necas let’s say and then rotate to D3 and three NHLers. Rinse and repeat with the next pairing. It only really adds an extra workload for 2-3 forwards and one defensive line. Id agree if we had Chatfield and or Cole but it’s simply not possible like you said unless we want a few players hitting 35+ minutes of ice time. This is where I trust Rod as an actual coach. His lines are always impeccable, even if they don’t work.

Two full offense. 3 full defense and two 2/3 forwards which I presume will be split with a canes winger every other shift. So basically our wingers will be pull double shifts.

All sports just need to suspend until mid January. There are too many outbreaks and its not going to go away if they just keep transferring it every week or couple days, depending on the sport. Let people have a hard reset at home and roll from there. The leagues should really be taking the higher ground here. But they are not.

That’s my guess, that and venue revenue. The NHL really wants to get the cap up but they can’t do that until the billion+ dollar revenue “loan” is paid off. Which is fugging ridiculous in my opinion but that’s a whole other story.
