The fact he is not willing to even commit to Cam for a full game is telling. Ya I get he wants to be Peyton Jr but this is not the time. But does Tepper believe Rhule is a three year guy based on his college records? Thats what scares me.

Agreed. If there are a few games here or there they could pick up around the fringes cool. But to try and stuff it all into the Olympic timetable is gonna prove ill sighted.

I like that Rod still has the guys practicing. Hopefully he does a morning skate on the 25th or 26th to get all the Protocol guys back up to speed.

@MillionDollarCam or someone is gonna have to answer this one. I try and keep apprised of all the caveats with the waiver rules but every time they seem to be different. If he’s got more than the 10 games to hit the NHL waiver line I’d be so happy. Because we will need him over the next 3-4 months.

But is he RFA. I think that’s what kicks him back to the other rule but you could he completely correct. I’ll look his contract up in a minute.

I don’t see Stepan being around that long. Fast Drury and Poturalski if the league can get the salary cap moving up should be no issue at all.

10 games played before he hits waivers being sent back down to the AHL I believe. So we can only keep him up for 8 more games before he becomes waiver active and we may need him later in the season.

If we bring anyone up to replace Necas it’ll be Poturalski.

Doubtful. We don’t want him hitting waivers. Only way he’d come up is if people are out for months. Martinook will probably replace Necas, if his injury was any more severe than what we guess he would have been put on LTIR. So I think Marty is on track for a early January return.

Honestly I have no idea, but from the few media clippings on the matter it seems Rhule is safe for another year.

Cam had received offers from other teams before we called.

Robby needs to go and take Rhule with him.

I will say I didn’t get to see much of today’s game but the dysfunction on all three phases was palpable when I did. I thought Rhule would be bad from the onset, but not this bad.

I’m resigned to the fact we will have Rhule for another year at this point unless Tepper gives the fans a miracle Holiday present.

So I don’t think we play until Florida comes to town? Right NHL… Right?! There is no reason we should be crossing the border for one game before the holidays.

Rhule can go fug off. He’s lucky he didn’t get ejected.
