Thanks for keeping up the play by play! Due to the holidays and what not I’ve only been able to keep up with the recaps so far. The wealth of depth/trade value we’ve built is gonna be amazing for years to come.

Robby would leave after 3 games on a TOP SHELF hockey team with this attitude. You could be top of the league and you will still get boo’d if you suck on any given game day(if the refs haven’t made themselves known).

Rhule always seems to make the jump in this third year. The issue I’ve always contended is that was college. His track record against top shelf college teams was poor at best. The difference I see here is he isn’t taking some floundering college team with no recruits and turning them around over two years with his program. His talent evaluation ceiling, at least that this point, seems to be where it was in college. His general coaching/scheme seems abysmal at the pro level. And he’s not playing generally worse teams 95% of the games. Last year there was a lot of leeway due to how things were handled surrounding the pandemic. This year it doesn’t seem like there has been any “on the field” improvements. I’d go so far as to say with all combined factors, this year was easily a major regression. I understand Tepper may have bought the three year pitch. As showcased by Teppers letter to the fans saying give us 2-3 years. I simply do no feel like Rhule can translate his college success to the pros at this point in his career. Who knows maybe he will soul search this off-season and Tepper will give him a third strike but the fans will have to be given a very large carrot for that to make any sense. Again, it’s comparing apples to oranges in a way, but in hockey a lot of time a premiere Stanley cup winning coach will be fired or resign mid season, simply because there is so much public pushback and the players simply need a different coach or voice behind the bench. It’s nothing against the current coach, it’s not speaking any less of them, it’s just sometimes they aren’t meshing with the situation. I think the only thing hold Tepper back currently is the fact he doesn’t think the team would do any better this year if Rhules assistants were promoted, that or he’d worry they’d all quit in solidarity with Rhule. After the season though will be a different story.

If that came from Tepper that’s just wrong.

Not to mention. I didn’t catch the whole game but right after halftime they showed a Brady highlight real, didn’t mention it, but he was hitting strikes on his first read every play, didn’t even go through any progression. He had our defense figured out before he ever stepped on the field.

Why are you trying to run 3 QB’s? Seriously what the logic behind that besides PJ is your guy and Cam you have to play.

Fug Rhule. What exactly does he think is working? Because ALL stages of this team isn’t.

If he didn’t hear them loud and clear. Holy poo. I’ll give him lying to the media do he doesn’t have to deal with it publicly. But if he believes people were booing Darnold he should probably go get a mental health evaluation.

Why do I get the feeling Rhule is not going to play Cam for either of the next two games.

The question now is how much less effort will the team put in the next two weeks or are they already at bottom.

I think Rhule is either comfortable in knowing he’s returning or he’s already gone. You could see the look of concern in the sideline staffs eyes at the end of the game. Rhule was just like…

I just feel so bad for cam at this point. Rhule never let him play a full game for better or worse. Never game him opportunities to get a groove after an interception.

You know you suck when Brady is like put one second back on the clock to see if they can get a touchdown.

Cam has also never been given a game to build any kind of rhythm and I’m not just saying that’s a cam issue. At the first sign of trouble Rhule pulls the offending QB. It’s fugging dumb.

Ya I’m going to try and catch as much of Finland’s and the US’s games as possible. Did not realize we had 3 Russians either. Gonna have to check them out too.

Brady called out Arians early last season too. But they went to play golf and sorted their things out. That respect is key you are absolutely right. I don’t feel like Rhule respects the team as men and as players. Rhule puts himself above everyone else. Which is fine for college. But not for grown men making 10’s of millions of dollars.

I’m convinced at this point Rhule is just playing a power trip game with cam. Because if he lets cam start and play the whole game for better or worse he’s essentially saying it’s Cams team. This way he’s clinging to every shred of control he has, like he would a college team, instead of complimenting it. Like Bruce arians is the game manager for Tampa bay. But it’s Brady’s team.
