I think he’s good this run and will peak his game come playoff time, and he’s a great grinder. But going ahead he’s a 4C at best for the regular season. So it’s a huge trade off.

But if he’s looking for a late in the career pay day and we *knock on wood* get a chance at the cup this season he(and frankly Staal) may be the odd men out. If we don’t get get to the Stanley Cup things change but KK is young. Nino is clearly a huge piece(note missing him in the playoffs last year). We need a buffer zone to bring the rooks up. Id like to keep Fast no matter what though. He’s like the current Canes Thomas Davis in play style.
