    Love how Brett just keeps playing at the very end. Apparently this guy either intentionally or unintentionally whipped his junk out at some point too. The clip they say it’s in he’s definitely just trying to hold up his pants and underwear. Either way could be more than a disorderly conduct for this fool.

    Detroit has been playing pretty badly over the last 10 something like 2-5-3 or something but we can’t let them trap us tonight. Need to be feeling strong going into Denver Saturday. I’d like to see us ending the season with at least a 7-x-x(3 split between either) record.

    I feel like that was a gentle reminder that we are still legit. Also the refs did not call poo in the last few minutes against the rangers. I counted half a dozen obvious trips alone. Lorentz should have had a penalty shot. At least the refs didn’t go over the top like they did at the Florida game end of last season.

    Gotta see way more forecheck out of us this period. We had some very good high danger chances in the first period on limited shots but not nearly enough time in the Ozone.

    Rangers are pushing hard, Canes holding so far. Freddie seems to have an unexpected pep in his step today.

    I think that’s a good momentum builder, however goalie is incredibly suspect in my mind currently. Either they are playing at half speed in preparation for the playoffs or we are going to have to make a move.

    Staal now has more goals tonight than all of the end of 2021(beginning of the season) if I’m not mistaken.

    Told y’all Staal would pick it up late season. He’s had what, more goals in the past two weeks than he did in the first 80% of the season?

    I feel like not that we can cap space wise we need to take the rook up and rest our goalies. They are so stupidly slow right now. If he sucks, hey, he gets some NHL action. If he’s good maybe someone needs to rest up extra long.

    Honestly I’m seriously wondering at this point if we aren’t aiming for the #2 spot so we don’t have to play Boston or the Caps in round one. (though we did sweep Boston, caps might have our number.)

    First shot = one goal, gotta keep this up. Hopefully Freddie being forced in tonight is a wake up call. Goal 2 Staal as I post. Can’t get complacent though. Ducks ain’t much right now, gotta use it as a building block.
